Jeff Alessi's Bike Stolen

Edited Date/Time 3/14/2013 6:05pm
Keep an eye out for Jeff's bike. Someone stole it yesterday, MCR 450 with 801 on it. Shouldn't be too hard to spot. Thanks.

~edit~ Some added info: Here is first the vin number (frame) JS1RL42C2C2100858 and second this is the engine number...

I hate this kind of crap. That sucks for Jeff.
There's another bike that will never be seen again.

Thanks for sharing, if anyone sees a Suzuki with yellow wheels red hubs and fmf parts please relay a message for me to take a look. I would say 90% who ever stole this bike was someone who races cause they knew what they were taking. They will also be selling lots of forks and shocks and fmf pipes cause they cleaned us out pretty good. I for one think it was someone really close to us cause they didn't hurt varners giant dogs that were out protecting the yard, pretty crappy.

You may not have been serious but your attempt at humor was weak and your timing sucks...if you have ever been ripped off you would understand.

Jeff I hope the or these scumbags are caught there is no worse feeling.

Definitely in the past, but not so much these days. Palm Springs is probably the worst, and then the Inland Empire following closely. These areas are so gnarly.

Can we stay on topic here? The man had his motorcycle stolen. Let help find it rather than acting like a bunch of douche's shall we?

For what it's worth, I thought your comment was funny. Some people are just wound too tight.

Jeff, it sucks that your bike and parts got stolen. I have had this happen in the past, so I can relate to your anger and frustration. I hope you are able to track the stuff down and get it back. I also hope the thief loses his genitalia in an unfortunate smelting accident.

Would seem like an inside job as JA posted,

When I had a room full of gear (60k + of musical instruments) I was very very careful who ever saw them or even knew about it,

if I had to sell something it would be done away from that room.

Bikes are used outside so scum can see.

good luck to JA and bad luck to the scum

Had my car vandalized when I was in college 20 some years ago. To this day if I see some jack wads vandalizing another persons car, I'll be taking my anger history out on them. Shoot em, dig a hole, and bury em.
Old school rules.

Search the area really good. I know of a guy that found a receipt in the grass near his house. It lead to the thieves and he got his bikes back. Good Luck!

It wont help now but, everyone should consider a DVR surveillance system. They can be had for a few hundred bucks now. They DVR can be locked up or hidden well because you can still access with remote or wireless mouse. I access mine across the internet from anywhere I'm at.

Damn...so Im taking it the bike was stolen from the test track in the desert? If thats the case it is someone who knew you guys...no one else would just be cruising by randomly out there.
My buddy got a couple bikes stolen a while back...about a year later he was riding around the block and there were his bikes in some dipshits garrage...never had been ridden or touched.

Anywhere in the high (!) desert there are meth heads hanging around every gas station and store begging for drug money. Ive never seen that bad anywhere else, when I'm there I feel uncomfortable just leaving my truck to go into a store.

Locks and alarms don't mean anything to a crack or meth head, most of them are known at the jail on a first name basis.

jeff did say they cleaned them out of other stuff, and mikes stuff would have been there too
Back to the pitch forks... Jeff would know for sure, but my heart would be pounding if in fact that was my stuff showing up on Craigslist. I was able to get the address of someone who was attempting to steal my identity once, it becomes a tough decision if you want to let the police handle it or roll up your sleeves and do it yourself.

If this is Jeff's stuff, good you guys for finding that for him!

A girl I dated recently was a lawyer. She bounced back and forth between LA and San Bernadino (IE).
She said the people convicted of crimes in the IE-corona, riverside, SB, victorville, hesperia, adalanto are mostly drug related charges and not heavy crimes.
In LA she said thats where people are doing real crimes like murders and rapes and that kind of stuff.
It happens everywhere but spending most of my time in the desert Ill tell you this place is way safer than LA... where Im from!
