I have tried: Fox, TLD, Shift, Fly, MSR, Answer, Thor and Oneal.
Although most of the graphics are kinda weak, I have been most impressed with Oneal's durablity.
It just seems burly and tough.

I've rode with people dressed to the nines, and old t-shirts.

There is a guy I ride with some who wears old long sleeve t-shirts and a sort of Javex bottle for a chest protector.
Hardly anyone can keep him in the same postal code, other than keep up with him. I don't think I have bought an article of MX clothing since riding with him a few times...why bother.


That being said, I will break the bank on good boots, they feel so nice!!

I currently have Fly Kinetic, Fox, and Marshall Racing Gear. You may not have heard of Marshall Racing before, but I think you will be hearing about them soon. Their gear holds up a lot better than Fly's and just as good as Fox's, but it is a heavier/thicker material. I like it a lot and will be buying from them for my next set of gear.

What ever is in clearence??? I usally dont care what brand gear I am wearing.. Long as I have a helmet, Knee brace and Boots on i will be fine! HAHAHAH But One Industries is nice... Would love to get some TLD

No mention of Alpinestars? During my years on the BMX bike they had awesome gear. Best gloves I've ever had aswell. Lasted multiple seasons.

I've paid similar prices for Fox 360 stuff, and it hasn't been half the quality of this stuff.

For some, it might not be "flashy" enough...but to each his own, I prefer the more "plain" gear anyway so its a win/win for me.
I have a Klim helmet, two pants,jacket,jersey,glove,socks and have no where near $1200 invested.
I am with Titan on this one,plain is more appealing to me than the superhero looking gear that is mostly available
from the other companies.
I am also old.

I was sponsored by Yoko back in the early 1990's and the gear was one of the best I've ever wore. It held up way better than Thor (for the day). Dave Coupe and the gang were a good bunch of guys and would bust their balls for you.
I thought the YOKO stuff was actually pretty cool....back in the day. The Clover stuff, LOL.


I'm pretty impressed with the new FLY. I've never liked their designs but the new stuff actually looks pretty good.

Started racing in the mid 90's with Thor. Didn't hold up to offroad racing in the woods. Switched to Moose and it lasted very good. Switched to MSR for several years but lately their pants have been coming in smaller and smaller and the fit has definitely changed for the worse. Wearing Fly Kinetic Mesh Tech now and love it. Pants fit right and have more room in the knees for pads and braces. Fly also has an awesome contingency program for our series!!

As for Fox, we always called that poser gear as every non-rider was buying it in the mall and wearing it.... Year ago I loved the Pawtector gloves but they changed them for the worse.

Wow, I havent used Thor stuff in a long time but was decent when I did 10 years ago, Im surprised to see all the negative comments about it now, they must have changed it a lot since then.

I've been a Fox convert the last 4 years, gear fits well and their designs dont make me want to throw up.

I love the TroyLee Desings gear I'm also diggin the Fly Kinetic, I love the ajustability in the waist and the way the stuff holds up i'd definantly buy it again, The MSR gear is awesome too it lasted me and my dad forever i had it since 2010, I put that gear through hell, and it still looked good, It worked awesome and they have a flawless ajustability waist strap, that stuff never fell down off my waist ,ever!

Klim holds up better than any gear I have ever had..bar none. Thier vented gear and regular gear is not thet expensive. Now the rally stuff is is off the charts expensive.
