I haven't been on much in a while, so if this has been covered recently, please forgive me. I'm wondering what A riders plan on debuting their pro career at Millville this year.

Who I know for sure: Wharton bros, PJ Larson, Hunter Hewitt, and pretty sure Darryn Durham is.

Other A riders I am wondering about: Steven Clarke, Alex Martin, Les Smith, Lowell Spangler, Michael Hall, Ben Lamay, Vince Friese, Ben Evans. and I heard that Terren ODell was racing A class again. I am sure I have to be missing others that could possibly turning pro this year...

I think Trettle is going to stay B, due to the short season and his age.

Wouldn't that depend on his AMA advancement points...oh wait, forgot, they'll probably not advance again in '09!

Ben Evans is doing the last three nationals for Solitaire. Not sure if he has anything with them for next year.

Nate Whitlow will be riding the last three rounds. He is coming off two 3rd place finishes in Motocross A and Motocross A Pro Sport.

I think Trettle is too young. Isn't this year his first year on big bikes?

I told him he could ride at my practice track near Duluth, he is so happy to finally get a chance to practice! He says he doesn't mind its a mini track in my back yard, he needs practice on the tight stuff. And to top it off it's only 4 hrs from his place! Ya i'm the manSmile

Isn't Alex's father the owner of Millville? I could be way off base here.

Yes, unless they sign a decent deal they can very possible make more money racing amateur. Even as a B rider. There are plenty of riders racing amateur stuff and making more money then guys riding for satellite teams.
