So now it's not Stewarts fault for hitting Reeds back tire, it's Grants fault for washing the front end?

This is hard to follow.

This guy.. Listen to him hes right.

Stewart was behind reed halfway through the woops, Reed had one of them huck a buck things and come across infront of Stewart. Reed lost control a little and He and Stewart were side by side with Reed coming into the corner fast after loosing it a little followed by an out of control Grant, Reed was going right toward Stewart's front wheel, then Grant plowed into the back of Reed causing carnage.

I Cant believe how dumb some people are, go back and watch the thing slowly including all replays.

If you're a js7 fanboi then it's reeds fault...reed was a complete idiot novice that pulled a stupid move
If you're a reed fanboi, he messed up a little js7 hit his wheel and grant plowed them.

Rewind a year or so ago when these two had an incident in the whoops where js7 hit reed and reed went over the berm....

When js7 hit reed then, a js7 fanboi says he messed up a little couldnt get slwed enough for the corner and bumped reed over the berm....a reed fanboi says js7 was totally out of control, whiskey throttled it plowing into reed with no respect at all whatsoever and had reed not been there js7 would have ended up in e stands.

Hillarious....vitardism at its finest!

Hahahaha.. Might as well totally throw a wrench into things. After watching the tape over a few times my friends and I all agreed it went down like this:

Clearly Reed's fault all the way. In the whoops before the turn Reed swaps, almost taking Stewart out (Maybe he touched him, maybe he didn't, but it was clear Reed swapped left toward Stewart and this is what started the chain of events) Reed then over corrects/swaps, hard to the right, drops a front wheel in the whoops and just about kisses his front fender trying to save it. Reed, totally out of control and not backing off the throttle and still veering to the right, whiskey throttles in front of Grant and gets hooked on Grant's front end/arm/fork/whatever as Grant collides into the out of control Reed. - (It's pretty obvious Reed is attached to Grant in someway after veering into him).

When Reed dislodges he is only a few feet from the turn, still pinned and out of control. Coming in hot and out of control, Reed can't hold his line so he runs Stewart high and Grant, trying to gain control himself after being hooked up to the out of control Reed, is clearly on the binders trying to save it himself when Reed careens back down causing Grant and Reed to collide. As Reed and Grant come together again and fall over, Stewart falls on top of both of them.

^^^^^^ this is pretty much the way I saw it. Looked to me as though both Reeds feet came off the pegs at the end of the whoops which is why he couldn't slow it down in time.

I wonder if Reed touched Millsaps? Looks like Millsaps starts drifting left as Reed starts to drift right, which suggests that they may have touched.

You could see the black helicopters during the broadcast when they showed the shot of the full moon.

Reeds rear tire slides left into the rut that goes down the center. Reed has to stay on the throttle to try to straighten it out, and moves into Grants path coming down the inside. Reed still needs to kep some light throttle in it(not pinned) to keep from going down with Grant. Can't stop to make corner and Stewart is there to keep him from flying over the berm. Just as someone else mentioned; very similar to what happened with Stewart in the past, just role reversed. Racing incident.

The sequence I caught look like Reed bounced right into the same line Millsaps was heading left into, and that started the chain reaction with Reed cutting in front of Grant.

Sadly no..... It is just the full extent of his vocabulary.

smeg, your as blind as your avatar looks if you didn't see Reed come back across the track after hitting Stewart and collect Grant to make him run up into the corner out of control, next thing you know it will all be the Yamaha all over again.STEWART ruins the reputation of a motorcycle and now if he is on the same track as a Yamaha rider, the bike just naturally washes the front end and goes after STEWART,LOL,read earlier this place is so far gone, guess this is proof, you cant even watch a simple wreck and tell the truth about it

GoPro footage should show pretty good what happened, thats if Stewart allows GoPro to upload it.
What's with the If? Look over the footage they've uploaded in the past? Has there ever been a crash of James' that you felt you missed since he started wearing one?

Is it normal to have a whoop section right after the first turn into another whoop section?

I mean damn, it just seems like the track design was asking for a pileup.

It's on Reedy entirely. But you know what? It happens. And it will happen more often if they again stack the whole field in a whoop section right out of the first turn.

great pics

As a reed fan looks like reedys error , obviously not intentional but chad looks to be the catalyst for the melee........

looks like it ruined a good race too with most of the top 6 getting good starts ....Sad

on to A3.........

Only other time I remember 22 ruining a race was when him and 7 crashed at A1 a few years ago. Can't really hate on a guy that swaps in the whoops..its happens!

I agree about the whoop section following the first turn. Reed looked out of control for whatever reason (lots of contact between a few riders) but I think it's safe to say if grant wasn't there on the inside, he would have been able to pull it up without making Stewart do his best helicopter impression...

It's not Grant's fault Reed was out of control. Grant's got every right to be where he was. And there's no one in contact with Reed when he starts cutting across the track at the beginning.

The whoops generally are beat by the end of the night , and if you have a packing starting that has to spread the width of the track, there bound to be someone hitting something not in the main racing line.

Guys make mistakes in the whoops all the time, but there's not a lot of margin for error with everyone together after the start.

You Guy,s are total douchbags, can,t you see the flag marshall on the right in those pictures,

Obviously he distracted Reedy and that caused him to crash, obviously.

Good points, I would have to agree with all of that. Chad's mistake imo but the placement of the whoops was the biggest mistake of all.
