You may not be too familiar with the name Levi Sherwood, but once you see this flip variation, we're pretty sure Sherwood's name will be ingrained in your head like that stupid song you heard on the radio this morning.

"I didn't really want to try it, but I got egged on by my buddy, so I just went for it," says Sherwood. "To do a fairly large underflip is pretty hard and just as scary. It's a lot different than a conventional flip. To do a normal flip, you just pull back and go with the flow. On an underflip, you lean half to the side and half backwards, so instead of just rotating, you're trying to straighten the bike out the whole time to make sure you're lined up for the landing", explains Sherwood.

So will Sherwood pull out the underflip at any contests in the near future? "Yeah, of course I will. I try not to do them too often because they scare the bajeebus out of me, but once I get egged on a bit, I can't really help it."
