LOL. Grants whole career bottomed out after he slammed 800 for no reason. Not sure if its karma or coinsedence. I still hope he does okay...

+1...
That was a punk thing to do (putting 800 on the ground like he did). I can't get that out of my head. Plus, going back to his days just after moving up from mini's and riding a CR 250 at REM...he and his dad are (were?) complete assholes; I've seen it up close, first-hand.... Compound that with his thug, throwing signs, "stage" and it becomes difficult to get behind him.

Having said that, and after watching the current "Moto the Outdoors," I root for the guy. Recently married, little guy running around the house, career at a make or break "stage," how can one not? His good days came under the JGR tent; maybe, just maybe, his best days are in front of him...like "Crash" said, "the more the merrier."

MdDizz: Please explain how being able to "bench race your ass under the table" is more important than using the English language correctly (rhetorical question Whistling ). In "AK," they allow guys your age in bars? Be honest now....

You are legal to drink, or you are a "legal drink" of some sort? I didn't know drinks could type; let alone breath or have thoughts.

Interesting good sir.

By the way, i've been to Alaska. The kenai peninsula, fjords, seward, anchorage, homer.... My most favorite vacations ever. Would go back in a minute. The damn glaciers are actually melted from when i was there last.. scary stuff.

I envy your place of residence, but not the bench racing skills McJizzhole.

Slow down with the drinking, it interferes with typing.

While they might have a history, intentional cross jumping is a move that is pretty much a universal faux pas.

Grant and Milsaps are my darkhorse riders, If they get good results in the early rounds , IMO that will determine the rest of their season.

Having watched Marty Moates on his privateer LOP Yamaha at the Carlsbad USGP in 1980, I learned that in MX racing never be surprised at the results at the end of the day. Crazy shits happens all the time.

I have a feeling that Barcia may pull some rookie take out moves that could result in creating some opportunities for riders that we didn't unexpected to be standing on the box at the end of the night.

Never say never...

He seems to be struggling with some speed last few years. It's more common to see him outside the top 10 now but I still love the kid.

His suspension did not look dialed in durring practice and in the main it looked worse. Starts were good and they will grt the suspension dialed in. He will be in the mix when it is all said and done.

JG will only get on the box with a holeshot, in the mud when the top 6 get stuck for a lap.

Grant could top 5 if a lot of the right things happen…and those things do happen. That said I'd be surprised if it actually happens. Just too many faster guys over 20 laps with better luck. I've always tried to be a fan of his, but taking out a very hurt 800 was a real cheap move IMO. Haven't seen as many "gang signs" from him lately; maybe becoming a dad helped that. He seems to have a real solid wife in his corner. i hope he can stay healthy; dude has skills.

Has anyone noticed that Davie Millsaps is in the points lead? If Millsaps can win and lead the chamionship points I think Grant can mix it up with the top guys.
