Like Hannah and Bradshaw before him, he may not have won as many championships due to his lack of consistency, but I'll tell you why.

For them, it is not good enough to win or podium, they have to Destroy the competition. Bradshaw had a huge amount of fans, me being one of them, and he never won a big bike championship. (that is why I wish 1st paid 25 pt.s and 2nd 20, to the victor goes the spoils).

The first SX I ever saw was 1989 in Tampa on a vacation planned around the SX, Bradshaw was on a 125....he finished 2nd behind MXKid, and he was pissed!

I think when JS7 is on the podium in 3rd getting his picture taken, he is, ummm, throwing up in his mouth.

Hey, I'm Canadian, so here is a hockey analogy. A young goal scorer is lighting it up with 40 goals a year. After a steady decline of motor skills due to age and injury, five years later he is good for a little of 20. He's frustrated and not having any fun. Sure he has a brilliant and lucky night and scores a hat trick once in a while, but those nights are further and further apart.

JS7 is my favourite racer since Hannah, they have had similar results in the record books. Prior to Hannah's waterskiing accident, he had everyone's number...then Howerton stepped up, the mystic was gone some. So it is with JS7, he is just another fast guy now......not a good enough stature for his liking.

I see JS7 in a cage of some sort next year, maybe off-road truck to get started.

I want to thank him for making every race he was in interesting, making a 2000 mile round trip drive to TO worth it by him and RC putting on a show with him taking it late, and every exciting moment.

Hope I'm 100% wrong, go JS7!

Silly me, gotta get the IQ below 100. Some single track without a helmet in the spring should do it.

Repeat, "no more complete sentences, no more complete...."

I get what you are trying to say, I just dont buy it. The last few years of James riding blue has clouded our memories. He still has it, and he and Villo are going to elevate themselves above the rest of the competition this supercross season, or at least I hope this will happen. Someone once said to me, "hope is doubt", I hope this isnt the case. Laughing

I'd love stewart to last the season but I just don't see it happening. He's bound to crash out of contention again - and then I think he WILL question his future.

I was totally with you until the hockey analogy, and then I completely understood what you meant about JS throwing up in his mouth.

GuyB, please ban me until........boating season, some people like me shouldn't be their wasting time on these forums, even though I'm right.
I will wait to hear your words of mighty intelligence.....like you could have a forum where only you post!

I should be painting the trim like my wife wants me to anyway..
Will a STFU to u do it?

Tell me something only an "insider" would know, impress me.

Love the fishing girl, can't wait to get the boat out.

Every year, these mofos are closer to retirement, so odds are in favor of the nay sayers the further we go. Just think JS has so much to offer still, so I hope, and assume this is not that year just yet. Maybe he will go for another 5 years or so?

Please, please stay safe for the sake of the sport, fans and yourself, please think long term mr Stewie...Cheerful

I had the same thought last year and it would not surprise me at all to see Stewart retire when he crashes out again.

Yup, Eastern Canada to be exact...land of the freeloaders, The Hurricane is a storm, there are a few hundred weird MX fans, one 52 year old with a 525 (moi), and everyone is a fisherman, lumberjack, or on pogey. Hallejuheh!

If he doesn't finish this season, it wouldn't surprise me if he called it quits.

I like your complete sentences Dyrtbkr. As for James, I don't know if he can retire, he is supporting the whole family, and all of them have expensive taste. He's pretty young to keep up that lifestyle. I can can see Ricky,or Chad having no problems, but that Stewart compound would be nuts just to maintain, and the all the cars, buses, boats and so on...
