Alot of people around the country have been to this place, its a pretty cool setup. Supposedly through "rumors" that Exxon is buying the land for there company, one of Exxons offices is around the corner. Would be a bummer to lose another track or facility to something like that. So if anybody has the chance to get down there soon, it would be the time to do it. It might not be there too much longer.
I wasnt aware of the rumor of them buying land in that area specifically, but it wouldnt surprise me if they are doing long-term planning with that. They have offices all over Houston and want to consolidate.
And, yes, 3P is a great facility.

"Yes, we have had some high profile companies interested in my property and a few interest in my business. There are no signed deals at this time. I have spent 22 years investing in motocross. My life has revolved around this sport, I have made my share of sacrifices in every area for motocross. I will continue to invest in my park because families and friends continue to invest in us. I just want to say thanks to everyone that supports us."
Read into that what you will....
If he gets bought out and builds a new track a few miles away (where there are actually hills) it would be fine with me....
I hope that 3P will stay available to us riders, but right now the Oil & Gas bunch have really deep pockets.
I to love the place so would hate to see it go by the wayside but I am sure for big bucks Emil would be dumb not to sell.
