RupertX has a program outlined on his website in a pdf file that is great. Plus, he wants to bring back the 125cc class.
He also jokingly agreed assigning me to a position (can't remember the name) when I was gathering some data that involvied comparing the 250 lites class with the 450 class. In 2010 I was working on a quantitative statistical analysis of how spread out the fields became during the duration of both 450 and 250 motos. The hypothesis being tested was that riders in the top ten of the 250 class would be closer to one another measured in seconds than in the 450 class. The gaps between the top three, top five, and top ten were being measured during multiple intervals throughout the motos. I gathered several rounds worth of data but once school started back I had to ditch the project. If I could somehow get the timing and scoring data of the transponders for each of the rounds this year it would make this much easier. My theory is that the 250f class is kind of like restrictor-plate racing in nascar, basically restricting the pace to a degree causing the riders to cluster up towards the front (more exciting races when guys are battling each other) rather than become widely dispersed/ extremely spread out.

Jeff Ward doesn't seem like a bad candidate though. Seen it all, won it all and seems to have a very non-bullshit approach to the sport.

The last thing we need in Moto is Decoster coming up with a hawian Birth certificate in an attempt to satisfy a bunch of foaming-at-the-mouth Moto-birthers.
RC, not so sure. Asking colleagues how many titles they have compared to him every time they make a point might not work so well...
I'm still voting for Rup/DC.
What would you change rocrac?
This thread began as something hypothetical for fun..........bashing the people mentioned in this thread by insinuating that they are unqualified because they have a desire to make money is wrong. Period.
Back to the fun speculation please.
Maybe Mother Theresa.....she doesn't need money.
