He's gonna be on Valli for outdoors according to the latest Racerhead.

I reckon he deserved something a little better to be honest. At least he has a ride I guess, and won't have to risk getting hurt in SX

One of the fastest Motocross riders in the World can't get a factory rider because he is average as Supercross. Man I hate that!!!

Shame a rider like Metty who was amazing a couple of years ago outdoors on the Honda has fallen from the factory tree so quickly. With all the talent coming up, and the shortage of big bucks...you basically have one season on a factory team to prove you are truly the shit, and if you don't prove it, you are done! No more warm hearts that would let a rider have a rough year, then hold onto him for the next.

Valli is a long way from Yoshimura Suzuki.

Riders that show once a year that they have more talent than a consistent, in shape, normally durable guy like Metty always keep getting the rides.

Maybe he doesn't have enough of a flashy personality. Hansel keeps it going.

In SX he got three 4th place finishes and a 5th with a total of 9 top tens. Above average I say
The only reason he got hurt is because he ran out of gas in a rhythm section while practicing at GH on the last lap of a 30 minute moto.

Unfortunately there isn't any "Gimmie's" in this sport.......and if there is....there are very few. It can be a cruel sport. Metty is an amazing rider and if he does well outdoors this next season....he "should" retain some sort of a factory ride again.

But who knows?.......There is a LOT of fast young dudes moving into this sport....along with some extremely fast veterans.

More riders......than rides.

Good question. Seems like a risky proposition, doesn't it? I like Stewart and love watching him ride, but if he's your only rider, I'm guessing they'll be saving on gas money because that transporter is going to miss some rounds.
