Who would make the rest of the spots on the gate? Maybe they should bump it up to a 25 man gate so some privateers actually have a chance for the main.

Izzi is racing 250s (maybe 450s on opposite coast) so he can come off the list. Good chance that metcalfe is skipping SX this next year so take his name off. You can add Byrne though, Hansen, Rattray, Goerke, and who ever ends up riding for the now split valli team since they are back on their own. Tedesco hopefully will have something put together soon too.

Not that I don't think what the Privateer guys do is cool, but do we really need them? Even at the races, you have to be really watching some local guy to track his 17th place finish.

Yep, the LCQ last year was super stacked. I think they need to do something to change it up. Either add an extra few guys to the gate on the main , go back to semi's or do something to ensure that the local privateers have a shot to make the main. The current system has some flaws and needs to evolve like the riders and bikes have.

Wey, Morais, Albertson, Peick, Justin Sipes, Kiniry. There will easily be 30 riders who can very realistically make the main. And just think. There will be some really good riders who don't even make the night program!

Really....Considering all the pros you know from the Northwest who try and bust their butts every weekend to make night shows and hopefully a main I'm sure they appreciate this.

I have to agree with ya JW381 Bring in another class, cut the gate to 15 since we have half the guys getting lapped half way through the race anyhow. Tell the dudes not making night shows to go get real jobs and let the superstars battle it out.
