Before moving to Honda he was top ten (5th & 9th) for 2 years on the YZ450.

Over the last 3 years of 450 SX the only riders to have a better average series finish are Villopoto and Dungey.

Brayton is every bit as solid as Short in terms of the total package as a professional. Trains hard and tries his ass off, is incredibly consistent, and represents without excuse with a professional image. Good for him and good for JGR. He deserves this kind of support. He has earned it.

Can we say the same thing about Grant possibly getting his ride back at JGR? That can be questioned much more legitimately imho.

I like JB10. i'm happy for him. he did well at JGR before and he's very professional and likable. He may never win a championship but I bet hes a great buy for what you get. I think brayton will have a long life in motocross...he doesn't burn his bridges and smart about it. Plus he rides thru pain like no other. He probably shouldn't have been on a bike all of supercross but he gutted it out and to me thats worth more (specially to his sponsors) than a guy winning 2 supercrosses and sitting out for rest of the season. something to be said about staying alive and healthy for a season.

I was actually surprised he(Kyle) wasn't Stewarts teammate last year at JGR.
I believe he did indeed talk to them and even went up,if my memory serves me correct.

I think you guys that are saying that Justin doesn't deserve a ride.....are friggin' crazy! Not all the teams hire certain riders because they are depending on them to win a championship. Brayton is fast enough to be up in the mix , get plenty of TV time , he's clean cut , well spoken....and honestly hauls ass! He's just like Andrew Short in many ways......and sponsors and teams LIKE that type of rider.....the fans do to. ( except for a few here I guess ) Blink

not that he's a full waste..... i just think their are other riders that deserve a shot. JB10 had a full factory bike this year and didnt do shit... put him on GUS Racing and make him earn it.. again....look at DA241 or some of the guys like that. those guys bust ass just like JB10 and seem to always get over looked

Ummm Yeah!

Considering his finished 7th in 2011 as well on the Blue bike after missing the first four rounds of the outdoor series.

You could argue that Brayton is better on the Blue Bike

Spoke to Jeff Ward at VMXDN @ Farleigh last weekend. Josh Grant is definately off his team for 2013 and Deano is definately signed up. Jeff said they were talking to a very good rider for #2 slot on team and hoped to announce details soon.
He also said there was a lot more behind the scenes to running a successful team than he first imagined!
