I take it you don't read his blog and twitter updates. I'd have to say it is just about the best use of blogging and twitter I have seen to date.

Alot of people will see his journey as pointless. Ask yourself what did forest gump get out of his journey? I'm not knocking the guy but others are doing the same each day. For instances, Mormons are swarming neighborhoods all over America knocking on doors and spreading the word. That is alot of biking, walking and rejection. I think that is much more difficult than just walking across America. The mormons are getting rejected and heckled but at least they have a message for the public. And I have a issue with companies like TLD and HH decking this guy out with clothes. Can someone post this purpose?

NO SHIT!! Hobo Nick has his own reasons.....and what would it matter to you Dennis? I think it's pretty badass for someone to take that much time to try and accomplish something like this. You ever have anything positive to say about anyone or anything?

I've been reading about this guy and the one repeating reason is to find purpose in his life. I feel that walking across america is evading responsibility. I've had to find purpose in life by facing responsibility.

What responsibility is he evading exactly? The super serious one of being daniel blairs mechanic?

I think his journey is about more than finding a purpose in his life. I think he wanted to restore his own faith in mankind. And probably get away from people like you.

Have you ever tried to understand someone else opinion? It matters to me because I went to bed last night troubled he may be dead or suffering in the california desert. Then as I was in traffic this morning going to my job I realized why do I care about a guy who is just walking aimlessly? Sorry guys, I just can't understand this...just like I can't understand why Kim Kardashian is famous...maybe it's a twitter scam.

"I came on this journey hoping for something more. I don't know exactly what but I am on the road because I had a feeling that something greater Is to come. Maybe it's experience, maybe it's faith, maybe it's love, maybe it's something else. But I know what I feel and I feel something big. I could have stayed in a life where I was secretly miserable. That might have made some people happy. Maybe there was another way to do this. I don't know the answers or what is right. All I know is what I feel and that's what brought me here. I'm just a normal guy who wants to find what happiness is."

This is true, but the great thing is, when you are in his shoes, the dicks just keep on driving because they are too absorbed in their own life to even think about you

Couple things on Hobo Nick....

-one of the loyalist friends i have ever had
-traveled the country with me in 09 and 12. When I got the ride with Geico in 09 he stayed on the road and drove my van around the country. Oh and did both seasons with me for FREE.
-TLD hat was mine, he stole it from me in Houston this year.
-when i broke my femur/back in 2011 he showed up unannounced and stayed in hospital icu for a week, slept on the bed next to me
-was supposed to fly to costa rica after st.louis sx this year but passport got stolen out of van sat. night so had to stay with me 3 more weeks
-after houston i drove home and he decided to fly to jacksonville and walk from atlantic to pacific
-did the walk to try and find his purpose in life. Zero scam, zero motives, just trying to find his place in the world.
-had to talk him into getting a twitter
-loves olive garden breadsticks

There ya go Dennis, now STFU

Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot than open it and remove all doubt.

Do you understand the irony of your first sentence. I'm going to guess that, no, you don't understand irony.

Dennis, America can give a SHIT less about your taxes.Unless you dont pay them.(And yes i pay my taxes every three months plus my property taxes.(America loves HOBO NICK and dont care about your taxes. He is not on welfare.)
If you go read his blog you will find he has helped people like yourself .And wanted nothing but to keep walking.
DENNIS GO GIVE $5 TO 10 HOMELESS OR HOBO,S AND SEE HOW THAT MAKES YOU FEEL? Your taxes are paid so $50 bucks should be no big deal correct?
Go read the blog about the lady and her freind.Nick made that happen for a little food he didn,t even ask for
It,s the stuff you don,t see, That is what it,s all about......
