Put a good resume together listing your experience before you went to MMI.

Absolutely. MMI strengthens an already somewhat decent mechanic in my opinion. Most places won't hire someone fresh out of MMI with no prior experience if they just decided they wanted to work on bikes. You need that mechanical experience which only comes with spending time doing the job.

i did that through warthog racing before the team turned into the privater journey Ted Parks is team manager. got a job but it takes awhile to get somthing with a legit team. also aworked for kids at MTF. Colleen Millsaps is really nice she knows everyone so if know your stuff she can get you connected.

Get on at the local dealer and start paying your dues. When you can flag consistent good money, with minimal come backs, that will strengthen your resume towards a race team position.
