Look.....I friggin' love Kenny.....but the truth is , he hasn't ever had to race a full season with guys like Tomac , Barcia and Bagget. He isn't the only one struggling here you know??......Musquin is as well.

If you look at their finishes ( MM and KR ) thay are on about the same pace with each other as they were across the pond. "Here".....it's a different type of MX.

"HERE"........they flat out haul fucking ass from the drop of the gate all the way to the checkers. Both KR and MM haven't ever had to deal with that. Both those guys are dealing with three Americans that are complete animals.....ALL 3 !!

Kenny isn't doing anything wrong........I just think the guys over here had the pace up to where he wasn't quite comfortable of running just yet.

One more key thing.......he needs to adjust his fitness program to be able to be just as strong on the last lap , as he is on the first. He "does" fade slightly.......and that's where these guys are getting him.

Just my 2 cents.

IMO it is the gnarliest 250f class of all time.
Before it used to be 1 villopoto and before that 1 James Stewart. Theese 4-5 guys more than match the avg. lap times of Ryan Dungie, and has so all season. That with a more beat up track than 450 class.
Imaging how hard it is to get a top 5 in 250f class this year compared to the 2 previous years.

Kenny And Marv are doing just fine. They have speed and more important att this point, consistency, witch is very unusual when breaking new ground. How can anybody expect more from them when racing the likes of BB, ET and JB who are veterans of the class. They will instantly be contenders when moving up.

Many riders have speed on occation but them both have championship blood in them. Plus they are smart, the dont try to kill themselft
with frustration of getting beat. Many riders would have crashed their brains out trying to go BB,ET speed at this point.

//Jeffro did not mean to quote i agree with your post//
Agree with both of you and Jamma10

The guy is in his first year racing in the AMA against riders who are into the second or third year, are a couple of years older and have not just ridden but raced all these tracks before, not coming in with 20 minutes to figure them out.

Think most riders would be pretty stoked to be racing the likes of BB, Barcia and Tomac and running with them for the most part and beating all of them at different times throughout the season.

I would have been more surprised to see him winning in his first year against the competition he has, if he can pull out one or two moto wins or an overall in the final three rounds it will be a very impressive feat and I think it may just do it.

The fact that he is on route to earning a permanent number in his first year is a pretty good achievement. It's taken Barcia 4 years to do that, Tomac 3.

I have been more impressed by Musquin. I believe he came back from injury and has been getting better and better. I believe Musquin is the better of the two KTM pilots. If both are healthy next year for the outdoors, I expect Musquin to do better in the championship.
Couldn't say it better myself. Once MM have everything dialed in, he will go nuts on the track. He have amazing skills on the bike and can make any track look easy or just find a new line on the track after 20mins when the condition of the track is horrible. Just like Cp377 does.

If anyone is moving forward right now, it's Marvin. He's got just as good or better shot at winning a moto this year.

BB has matched sometimes beat Dungey's lap times, not the top 4-5.

I hate to say it but are the PC and Geico bikes a touch faster? Actually i'll re-phrase that, more like "dialed in"

Just a thought, not an excuse for Ken,the flat out tracks have been the ones the other guys have had the bigger
margins it seems,I don't know if its been discussed before or anyone know of anything that could be a factor?

Personally I'd go with Jeffro,Berguven, aaryn and jamma etc, hope he bags a win,he's be so painfully close, what a stacked class,RV only had BT101 to hammer it out with afterall

You can compare them since Dungey has a 30-45sec lead at the motos end and he obviously not pushing like the 250f guys

Love me some Bunk, lol. Atta go RocZ. First one is the toughest.

Can't believe how the Geico boys did. I'm a Musquin and KTM, but he should be docked 5 positions for that pass, rules are rules.

1st moto for Ken, overall for Marvin.

Not so bad for two "europeans" riders...

Yeah, not bad. But both were EXTREMELY fortunate Barcia and Tomac had issues in the 1st moto.

There is always one!

Maybe the were EXTREMELY fortunate that they rode the track and the conditions better to finish in front!
