It sounds like Barcia has his confidence up for Southwick. He rode great there on the 450 last year.

I'd like to see Tomac get another overall at Southwick but I wouldn't be surprised to see Roczen step it up being a sand track; he seems pretty hungry for a win. And Musquin seems to be turning it up lately but I don't know that he's quite ready for a win. And Baggett seems to do his thing every race so you can't count him out.

My bold prediction:

Roczen
Tomac
Barcia (bad start)
Baggett

Bagget, Tomac, Roczen, Musquin... As unbeatable as everyone seems to think Barcia is at Southwick the only time he ever won the overall was his rookie year in 2009 in the rain/mud when Pourcel DNF'd

Oh yeah, I forgot about Barton, Larusso, Treadwell...

Im thinking that Barcia being a bigger guy might hurt him on the lights bike in the deep sand compared to guys like Baggett and KRoc.

3 things...

Blake can rail sand.

Musquin is a Sand-Shark.

Oh, and...if they let Barcia get away, at the start...all the while he's thinkin'..."I wonder what the Sand is like in Belgium?"...well...

I wish I was going to be here.

Doubt it when he's got a world championship to win. Racing at Czech Locket MXGP this weekend 4/5th August.
No point in travelling all way to US for a fish & chipper, easy win!

Looks like he is riding the 2013 bike over there. I wonder if they are gonna run the 2013's back in the states?

I wonder when it is going to sink in that all those Red Bulls are contributing to his arm pump issues....

Barcia works the bike too hard for the deep sand.

Yea thats the 2013 engine he is using in the photo's. my guess is he is testing for MXDN and if it is much better KTM will make sure he can run it the rest of the nationals

By the way you can see the difference between the two engines here [url]http://www.mx-pure.com/archive/news-20090318095900-20120501105904.htm[/…]

I agree with your Barcia comment but I think Tomac will win moto 1. I think he's getting restless without an overall lately. And he seems ready to start kicking it up a notch. I'm looking for him to match Baggett's lap times.

You must had not watched Daytona sx this year? Baggett had him if it had not been for his mistakes and still almost got him at the finish. Millville sand section? Passed then pulled a tear off in the whoops like it was nothing. I think we should wonder if Barcia can beat baggett at southwick.

Yep, he was awesome in the sand sections. The pass he made on Barcia was in the sand section. I'm a Barcia fan, but i think BB is going to take it.

Tomac or Bagget.

That's ALL. Hate to say it but it's too late for the rest.

BAM BAM must be loving all this fuss against and about him. Afterall he's the only one graduating to THE premier 450 ride.

As much shit you shiitards wanna talk about him, he's the only 250 rider signed to a FACTORY team in 2013.

He already won.

The sand separates riders based on different skills,
Bagget has the best lungs and Tomac is smooth,
To dominate in the deep sand you have train in the sand.

I won't argue with you there. I really want to know what it is that Aldon Baker brings to the table that other trainers can't seem to figure out. Only Dungey can match one of Aldon's riders in consistent speed (with the exception of Weimer). I wouldn't be surprised to see Baggett win Southwick but with his starts being so inconsistent, he's kind of unpredictable. All you know for certain is he's going to be on the move the entire moto.

I liked his podium interview last race. He seemed to grin and bear the question about his wreck.

Yeah wont happen. First of all he has a championship to win and yesterday I think he wrote he was still in pain from the car accident but had to ride the GP on saturday for the points.

It's for the best anyway, not so sure he would be so dominate in Southwick. Sand sure but not that deep

I'd have to say barcia has the advantage at southwick. seems like he rides in the sand all the time down in florida..
