If I Bing MXSports and scroll across link, a popup says this website may contain malicious malware and harm your computer, would you still like to go. Well Hell Yeah! Anyway, I guess I'll access it at a later date. I have recently been doing a history in my head of LL's and Jackson County in Southern Illinois. Maybe the most appearances per county in the history of LL's. This year we have 4 riders qualified and 2 alternates. 1999 being the most with like 7. I started going in 1983, that year Jackson County had 3 with 3 top 10 finishes.

When RacerX realized the site URL had been given out pre-beta on what I can only assume is a test server they password protected it. DC said the real thing will go live in beta soon and be attached to the RacerX Vault directly.

We are working on it, gang, hopefully tomorrow, when Racerhead goes up. We were missing moto scores from '82 to '85, which we already keyed in, so we're sorting that out....

Get ready for some supercool bench racing about the old school!

That is just simply awesome Davey!! I couldn't even tell you how many hours I have spent on the MX / SX vault pages just looking up so many old names from the past. I have to say.....it ends a lot of the bench time bullshit sessions some guys have spewed over the years......because now we have facts. Incredible job is all I have to say......OH....and Thank you!

I know its kinda petty but made a few nationals back in the day and think it would be cool to show the kids that i wasn't always fat and slow Smile .

Oh....I get it. Yeah....I noticed that too. You know what is weird though , is one day I was talking to Caroline Huffman ( owns washougal ) and asked her about previous years results for the nationals. She pulled up something ( not sure what year )....but didn't have anything after like 25th place recorded for some reason. I'm not sure what the reasoning was and I'm sure if she dug hard enough she could have gotten it. But Caroline isn't someone you want to piss off on a bad day......so I just took what she gave me with a smile. Maybe Davey will be able to fill in those gaps for us in the future.

Way off topic here, but I didn't feel a need to start a new thread for it. Is Adam Cianciarulo turning pro in 2013? He'll be 16 by the time next season starts. I haven't seen anything about his plans on when he's turning pro.

TDeath, my guess is that this will be Adam's last Loretta Lynn's.... Until after his pro career, however long that runs.

As for getting more results from the previous years, we are working on that -- the only pieces the AMA had unearthed at the time we underwent this project were the points-paying positions, but we are hoping this fall to dig deeper into their archives in Ohio and see what we find. The records mean a great deal to American motocross history, and we owe it to everyone who ever made 'the show" to get their names in there and on the record.

Besides, it's a blast to search for this stuff, and finding something makes it even better.
