If he does have a fitness problem (which seems likely), at this point there's really only so much he can do about it. Maybe that's why he's been a little more "off" lately. He could be training extra hard during the week trying to make up that difference but in the meantime it's only going to knacker him out more. He might start to feel a benefit once the season is almost over or MXDN time.
i think its a confidence thing- he looks dejected on the podium, he will figure it out. I agree about dungey though- it would be a good thing for him to go and live/ train with dungey for a while. Maybe when dungey already has the championship wrapped up he could help kenny out a bit
Kenny seems like a really cool kid that seems to be frustrated a little. But he's racing against 3 really strong Americans that all want it really bad.....and now he has a Frenchman starting to pour it on at the end of the season. He needs to get that fire back he had at the beginning of the season and in SX.
Just what I see anyways.
Ken Roczen @KenRoczen94

Ricky Carmichael @RickyCarmichael
@CRtwotwo @kenroczen94 this is Tru two two.. There's no way I could go across and do it.. #respect
I think that is proving tough for him, people forget how young he is becuase he has been winning for so long, but moving country at 17 isn't easy and his confidence isn't what it was last year either, and I think that injury didn't help lol
He isn't the same rider I saw at the MXDN last year. He beat Dungey that day and very nearly beat RV, lapping Baggett and smoking Musquin in France. (who had just came off a podium in the US).
Not that he is far off, but it is obviously taking it's toll on him. Like he said at Red Bud, its a learning year. He is a very smart kid, and he will learn quickly. He has the talent and riding ability to beat those guys but doing it in their home country isn't easy. It is so different from the World Championship.
And how unreasonable would it be for an eighteen year old to be feeling a little homesick?
Pit Row
I think he's a bit homesick and just wants to go back with his friends and family right now. I hope he's a new 'Roczen' in Southwick! A track he should dominate on ...
Hahaha.
it's black or white. love or hate.
why it is impossible for some to enjoy the racing and respect the kid is beyond me.
I just think Roczen should win in Southwick. It's a sand track and he trained a lot in Lommel and other sand tracks in Europe. It's like Rattray who always does well in Southwick (he won the last 2 times?). Why would it be impossible for Roczen to do the same? To me it's logic instead of fanboy but what ever ...
Post a reply to: Roczen, what's up.
