“At this point in time it doesn’t make sense to push it,” said Team Yoshimura Suzuki Manager, Mike Webb. “From a safety standpoint, for both James and the other riders, we just don’t want to take the chance. The injury is a little more than we thought and will simply require a bit more rehab. The plan is to stay off the bike for a couple weeks and then ride and test and come back strong for Southwick.”
Stewart was injured during the beginning of the first moto at the Lakewood, CO round back in the beginning of June. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider has collected two overall victories with four moto wins and a third-place overall thus far this season.
even if he is "hurt" giving Dungey more time and more confidence is still going to make it tough to do what he did the fIrst few races.......
Dungey and the bike are both significantly better and more dialed in now and Bubba had his hands full then.............
just hope none of the preseason shit happens to anyone before A1!!!
Suzuki is probably happy they aren't paying him yet......lol I hope he has that contract for next year signed with them or they may back out.......(sarcasm)
Pit Row
I could be wrong...I have been once before
Daughter and I got to catch some good racing at Hangtown fortunately.
Get well soon bubba
Justin
Here is to a full return by Stewart.
Oh yeah, GO DUNGEY!
This sucks Stewart's nonexistent nuts.
$20 says he never titles again......
On a more ridiculous note, at least he's not claiming Epstein Barr and heading for the couch...
that video sure sounded that he and everyone in his camp fully expected to pick up where he left off...bottom line he got beat badly.
Isn't this the same thing we saw in SX....if I'm not competive I'm not going to race.
Bub's you're making it hard to be a fan...
Well, a least he's thinking about other riders safety for once....
