Nagl dropped for 2013.

Won the ADAC Masters at the weekend in a return to racing,ok not the greatest competition but back after being out all year and undergoing 3 spinal surgeries, tough year for him,the guy is etremely fast on his day and had some awesome rides, anyone that can beat Cairoli in the sand isn't hanging around, pretty underrated IMO,personally I wouldn't necessarily pencil in De Dycker either, time for a US import?

(did someone mention Wilson to KTM? Tongue )

Didnt see that coming, nagl for sure has the speed to win any day if hes feeling it. Im sure he can get good results when he returns and be on a very good team for next year. Rui has been off this year i can see nagl challenging for that honda spot.

That's a mistake on their part. Didn't he come second or third in the championship last year? Unless they already have someone better lined up, or he has already signed to another team, this is weird.

neither deserves it IMO. Sorry if it comes off a little rough. Nagl is a very good team mate for AC though, he can get in between him and Desalle.

Interesting...tommy is going to get a reality check moving to mx1 class, atleast for the first year. In the future he will be contender but its going to take time. If nagle gets back to 100% he can run with the top mx1 anyday, hes that fast.

Max was 2. World Championship in 2009, several GP´s in 2009 he raced with some broken bone in his wrist. He has the top speed of AC and Desalle, but unfortunatly to much bad luck. Now, after a long period of injury, he gets no new contract from KTM.

Hopefully, he stays injury free in the future and gets the success he deserves.
Good luck Max Nagl!

I beg to differ. He got 2 4th places on the 450 at the MXdN last year

Hopefully Max kicks ass in the last few GPs this year to show "Everts & friends" aka KTM factory team that this was the wrong decision!

Looking foward to seeing Searle in the 450s... I doubt he is going to be naive going into that class.

Wasn't one of those 4ths from way back too?

Apparently he's a better riding on the 450, were see i guess! He did ride very well on it at the MXDN tho so thats definitely a good sign after only a few weeks on it, so im guessing the 3/4 months he'l get after his mx2 season finishes to prepare will get him ready to run the top 3/5 positions.

Nagl was apparently told before his comeback ride the weekend, which he eased his way to victory by 30 sec or so,5 years has seen some great success but some unfortunate injuries, shame because he can indeed vet up amongst the podium places

As Sunhouse says Van Horebeek isn't the answer,I really don't quite know who they have in mind,Strijbos probably wouldn't be any better than Big Ken (or Rui) and looks great on the team he's on with the 350 likely in contract tooI.Tommy looks set to go elsewhere too.

Jake has signed with his Dutch team again so looks like the Factory 250 ride may stay with Roelants
,I can't see them moving him up early

Would it be crazy to mention Townley again? Or maybe a US rider the 450 class will be stacked next year if everyone is healthy and with some guys stepping up,top rides will be scarce

Interesting one this for sure but KTM sure are in the mood and have resources Smile

Give that ride to Osborne and lets have another American GP champion. Pretty sure he already signed with Geico though.

Who was the last American MX1 champion? Trampas?

Factory Honda would be a great fit, but with the news of Tommy going there it's doubtful now. I hope he finds a solid program. I would love to see a brand change, but fear the possibility of a loss in confidence.

Harsh for Max but being injured alot doesn't help KTM.

It would make more sense if they were dropping Max for say Dean Wilson to race AMA with Dungey than bring in a slower rider to AC. Van Horbeek doesn't do much for me. I'd be surprised if he's given a 450 ride with KTM. Stick with Ken DeDycker I say!

I'M pretty sure you have to go way back to the Brad Lackey days to find a champ as far as the senior class goes too,I often wondered what Brown would have done on the 250 when it was the big class, that guy was awesome to watch Smile

Brown rode the 250cc class in 1997 (on a factory Rinaldi Yamaha).

Great vid. What a nice dude. Him and Roczen represent Germany well.

Could be a solid team for Germany this year. Roczen, Nagl and Schiffer all ride the sand well.
