Why is it when ever Malin has a guest - he can't talk WITH them about the RACING? He always ignores the monitor and talks off topic. I want to hear RV's commentary and thoughts on the RIDING.... All this other stuff can be discussed after the race.

I don't think RV knows the riders, so he's probably limited on adding much to whatever Paul says.

And lots of stones in places it seems!

Ok MX2 again now. TS needs to try and make something happen. Herlings really taking command of the points.

I agree with everyone, the track turned out awesome. Rough with many many lines!

Why? You assume just because you watch American mx, Americans would be interested in European mx?

I had a German foreign exchange student come here and we became friends. We rode the Calif highway one, seen all the sites in Vegas, went to the mountains in Co and stayed in NY. He went on to see a number of other states.

When he came back he said to me. I use to think American were conceited. They never looked beyond the boarders of their country for anything because I thought American's thought they were better than anything else. But after meeting the people and visiting I found this is not true. You have everything you need here and you just don't need to look any farther than your own boarders.

Except in motocross, when a bunch of Euros come to this board and tell us how their mx is better and their riders are faster. I say, your riders can't beat ours and we don't' need you or even watch your mx. Just like RV doesn't watch your motocross Smile

Ha, somebody give Carlito some Valium.

Awesome race again. Antonio's so strong every weekend, he's always there. Don't know what happened with Paulin.

Also well done to Bobby!

Not blaming RV. He did the same last week with Max Anstie.

I'd love to see Cairoli race here next season. It looks like he's going to cruise to yet another title and he really has nothing left to prove over there. I know SX isn't his thing, but if he could just get through without injury or try for an outdoor only deal that would be great.

Really enjoying the GP's this year. To me MX1 is better than the 450 US Nationals for entertainment value.

Americans are interested in the Motocross GP’s. Follow them every day. The USA does not come close to providing enough within its own boarders to me as a fan and participant of the sport. USA supercross left this year’s 450 outdoor class depleted and predictable. Many 250 guys are out also for the same reasons. RV has only made 1 complete season in his entire 450 career. I dig the live streaming option of the GP’s. Many American mx enthusiasts cannot read or operate a TV remote and have stopped watching the us nats for that reason. But what more would you expect from a country were nearly half of its citizens are morbidly obese.

And RV knows and follows the GP's Captain America. You think he went to the Belgium GP because it was on his way to Starbucks?

Some Americans are.

I could be wrong, but I think RV's first mission was to go to a European Thor intro that happened to coincide with the GP.

And attention all people who think borders is spelled boarders...

Strange your guest could finish his trip and still draw that conclusion. Sounds like you're living up to his preconceptions perfectly.

If he was that adamant on not doing the sx, I'm sure ktm wouldn't have a problem with him skipping it. He could start off the year doing gp's instead. Hope it does happen at some point. Heck, it'd be sweet to see him go over at some point this year.

For the record is it safe to say that "some" does not include you sir? Just asking. What is your own personal interest in the GP's as a fan of the sport?

No it would not be safe to say.

I saw my first of several USGPs at Carlsbad in the mid-70s, and have pretty much always been interested in them. Went to the DeCoster-promoted USGP at Glen Helen. I've been to GPs and MXoNs both here and abroad. I've met and interviewed Giuseppe Luongo, and feel I've got a pretty decent handle on how they run their show.

I check the results each week and know what's happening, but my primary focus is the racing here. We do probably post up as much or more info on the GPs as anyone in our PR section, and Jeffrey Beerdsen covers several GPs a year for us.

Great crowd 18,000+. They were six deep all around the track. Track was good for first event but a long way short of Namur in terms of atmosphere, spectacle etc!

Why do you keep insisting that your warped worldview is the same as all Americans? Personally, I want nothing to do with your patriotic fanaticism. I would say most mx fans can easily appreciate and enjoy both series. Once a year we get the MXON, which still does matter to a lot of people. Until then, just relax and enjoy the great racing.
