The RAW file was corrupted back in 2004 and I could never get it to open. I started playing with it again today and it magically opened. Let me know what you think! This was shot back at the Hangtown National in 2004 and is a few shots in the sequence before my cover shot I got with Racer X. I am beyond ecstatic that I was finally able to get this photo to work.

I have a Racer X T-shirt with that photo as well as a photo from the back.

Seabisuit was on his gear then. He did his ACL rehab so quick, I didn't give RC a chance to take the title. Amazing determination. The Greatest Of All Time it is.

Does anyone like this gear better than todays very "busy" looking gear? I sure do. Some of todays gear looks like pajama's to me. Although James and Dungy's gear looks pretty cool even though they sometimes look like they are on the same team.

Ricky gave us his jersey that he wore that day and it went for $4,800 on ebay, which was the most we got for any one jersey. The only higher amount we got was for a set of Bubba's gear, (I forget what race it was that fetched so much), but we got $5,200 for it, pants and jersey.

People always seemed to not mind paying more because they knew every dime, and then some, were going into the WWR program. I remember thinking, "Holy Fuck! $4800 for a jersey!"

Good times, for sure!

Wasn't there a mag ( maybe RacerX) that had a similar photo on the front cover and the same shot ,but from the rear on the back cover of the mag?

Also, the reason that gear looks so cool is because it is the Bradshaw replica gear from 89'...........

This newly recovered file should have been the cover as it matches up a bit better with Buckley's shot.
