Definitely crazy doing that wall jump, if it was no thang you would have seen more dudes doing it. I don't think it was any faster especially considering the risk involved. Big props to BB for hitting it though.

Anderson was hitting it big in practice. #800 once in practice landed really hard and killed the motor. Not sure which happened first.

He was landing after the second whoop. I was there and I have been to this race every year for the last 4 years. Not one of the pics I have seen do justice to what Blake did every lap of moto 1 except the last 2. Ya a few other guys did it in practice or once in the race but no one did it 14 laps in a row or how ever many laps it was. I have been to a lot of mx and SX races and I can tell you 2 things: 1) that is the highest I haver ever seen a bike jump. 2) that was the most impressive thing I have ever seen in a race. If you were not there watching live you won't understand.

Look at the angle of the camermans lens behind that jump. He's not shooting at something just 14' above his feet.

You can't judge it by that sign though because the camera is positioned below it, but you can sure tell how much of an angle the photog has to input to capture the bike.

I wasn't standing right there and watching every lap, I do know he wasn't landing exactly where he wanted every lap. He once ran off the track on the left side and road along the edge along the whoops.

I think it was two years ago that wall jump wasn't near as thick. It got about a five foot deep notch in it in practice all the way through. The top guys were hitting the little whoop in front of it and jumping through the notch.

i remember Pourcel and also Barcia skying off that thing a couple of years ago, not everybody does it and there is damn good reason. regardless of whether it's 20 ft or more it's pretty freaking gnarly.

fair play to anybody taking it on because there ain't no guarantee what the landing is going to be like lap by lap....
