Sorry for the quality. Took this picture with a disposable Kodak when I was 16 at Dallas SX. It was intermission and they were filming a movie....notice the riders in the purple/pinkish gear? Anyone else there that can remember the title of the movie? I'm pretty sure Broc Glover had a small part in the movie.

Lynn did all the announcing at the "big" races here in the south. He was a great guy and he did a good job announcing. Listening to him made it easier in the pits waiting around on my next motos.

LOL, was there on the floor shooting pics. Those bikes were hacked up POSs. The paint jobs on them were super sloppy.

Someone had a Hurricane outfit on at last year's Vegas event (2010) if I remember.. his bike was black, and the pink shiny gear.. it was hilarious. Unfortunately he didn't make the main.

Back in those days, 1980's, the Sunday after the the Dallas Supercross they would have Amateur day and I got to race on the same track as my heros at the time- Bailey, Ward, Hannah, O'mara--good times!

Yep it was the gayest movie ever! But they paid us 150 bucks a day plus gas/food. Not bad when you are 16! And I got to switch all of my plastic and seat with a brand new YZ250....

I watched it a few months ago (again) on youtube just to see if it was as bad as I remembered. It was. Loved the "Frankenbike" that they put together for the main... geez.
I'm trying to picture RV, Stewart and Reed (and maybe Ashley Fiolek?) going out into the boonies with the rest of the class and racing cross country towards a big plume of smoke. Definitely the best way to settle who the best supercross rider is, haha!
