I haven't seen the race or heard much about it. Anyone know what's up with JB's results?

He had a good sx season and we know he's capable outdoors. Those results are not fitting for him. Wonder what was up...?

OK, thanks.

Geez Rex, touchy touchy huh? It was a legitimate question... and I was too lazy to look it up.

Im curious also. I would like to think it was some bike problems and hope hes ok.

Justin Brayton has improved his results every year. He just keeps finding ways to get better.

He does but Honda does not wait around. With Barcia and Tomac coming up and a healthy Canard, Brayton needs to win now.Just ask Short, Grant, Milsaps, etc.

Actually, Muscle Milk sponsored Brayton at JGR last two years, and Brayton brought that sponsorship with HIM to Honda, not the other way around.

He was also with Muscle Milk on the KTM before JGR.

I'm gunna be a bit pissed if Brayton loses his ride for next year, he has earned that spot.

JB will only get better as the season wears on. He's a rock solid rider and sometimes it takes a moment to find your footing. I saw him later, and didn't ask about his ride (I was unsure of his O/A) but he'll only get better.
My own opionion is he is a natural at supercross, and Hangtown was the "welcome to nationals" reminder he needs to switch over. It'll happen.

That's basically already decided. Canard and Barcia will be on that team and i highly doubt Brayton will. Hes just not as talented, tho he is a good supercross guy. Id much rather go with Canard and his bad luck with injuries and the chance of a championship.

And what a shit message that would send. Work your ass off and get good results and still lose your place to the hype of a guy on the sidelines.

He's been riding with a broken bone in his leg or foot (or ?). We saw him walking around the Houston SX pits and he could barely move, I couldn't believe he was out there riding. He's a tough guy, but somewhere along the line your body just puts the brakes on whether you want it or not. I don't know if that's the actual reason, but it's a reasonable guess.

Hopefully he gets it figured out. I'm sure he will. It would suck to have his sx season overshadowed by some bad mx results. "You're only as good as your last ride", they say. Didn't he win the last moto of the season on his KTM one year? One thing he's got goin for him is if you're gonna have a crappy ride, better to have it on opening day, rather than the last. Wink

How can anyone say he deserves that ride? Brayton is a tough guy no doubt, riding through injuries and all. He's not winning a championship, and let's face it, that''s what all manufacturers want. Barcia will take his spot, and be faster than him next year.

I remember reading here someone saying Metcalfe couldn't catch a break with Stewie coming to Suzuki, he would be put on the back burner. He caught his break and didn't capitalize on it. He's a good rider, but not on the same level as the top guys, not everyone is capable of matching the top five guys speed. It's not talking shit about them, just the truth.

Thats like apples to oranges man... Canard would crush brayton any time.. he's just been having a couple tough injuries. Ol' 41 will be back up front.

I like TreyNard a lot but the poor kid is made of glass. I'd love to see him up front again, For now though Brayton has finished ahead of him in every series for what now 3 years?
