You could follow his Twitter. I'd give you his handle, but I don't know it.

When the Indians locked out the 2002 Motocross of Nations and blew off the race Hamblin went to the Fan race at Glen Helen to put on a show for the people who got burned by the Indians so he is alright in my book.

Gotta say great guy, worked with Sean briefly at Valli where he crashed the 2nd moto of the 1st AMA outdoor while running in 6th with 2 laps to go. Broke his sternum and multiple other injuries but I'd bet if you'd visit a golf course or two in LA you'd find him..just saying

Sean always looked great on the bike and pretty much came out of nowhere thanks to all of his natural talent.

Unfortunately Sean's (like the majority of racers) upper body protection consisted of a jersey.

x2 what always struck me during his time over here in Europe was his nice style.

The way he hit a particular little step up section at the 2008 British GP is forever etched in my memory for some reason.

Sean is a really nice guy and a GREAT golfer.

He was training and mentoring Kyle Cunningham through the supercross season.

The infamous gas guzzler!! How many rounds did he run out of
gas that year? Thought it was cool when Roger hired him
at suzuki, and he showed ip with 99 on his bike, and everyone
thought it was Travis! They did have similar style, Hambone was
an animal on a 2 banger!!

How awsome would it be to have a KX like that in the garage to enjoy myself over!

I met Sean a few years back on my first moto trip to California. We were at Cahuilla on Easter sunday (perfect conditions that day) and parked next to Grant Langston and Sean. That was one of GLs first rides after this eye ordeal. They were both super cool and we had fun talking the shit with them.

We had the opportunity of buying one of Seans 2005 KX 250 Brand new bikes from Pro Circuit in 2006 for my son....and by the way...it was spectacular to see and race,,,remember it saying (as a reference I guess) Sean Hamblins race bike on PC bill of sale.....we got it for 3,000 dlls and they freighted it to Laredo TX for 300 dlls....they wanted to get rid of it I guess.I was told that those bikes were tailored for him and he walked away to another team without much warning or something like that.
I will try to find some pics.

That was from my US SX holiday in 2005, this was at A1.

Looking at it now, i don`t remember Monster having that much of a presence back then...

I met Sean at the Orlando SX back in like 2005 I think it was, he is one of the friendliest pro riders I have ever met. Seemed like a classy dude and a cool cat.

it's refreshing on this board to hear a rider asked about and then have nothing but positive stories and interactions come up.

I met him in Manitoba in 98 I think? I remember being bummed that he beat darcy lange for the 125 west title, but he was a nice guy, we were roughly the same age.
