The stars have been aligning so to speak and it seems the Bubba fantards are finally getting their (our) wish.
- Dump the YZ-F... CHECK
- Decide to race the real series (AMA MX)... CHECK
- Race the Zook... CHECK
Their is only one thing left that most Bubba fans want to see, and that is to have him drop the stupid 7 and bring back his 259.
Now I know that their is some stupid rule prohibiting this. But lets just say Bubba say's screw it, Im running the number I want. Is the AMA or MX Sports really not going to let him race? What exactly would the consequences be? A fine? Surely changing your number cant be worse than slapping another rider ($500) can it?
Run the 259 Bubba! Then kicks some ass like the old days!

Dont worry, they haters will all be gone soon
You always come mouthing off at the start of the season, then go MIA a few weeks later when things dont go to plan.......
If Bubbles wated to run the old 3 digit number he could...but why would he? James has branded the number 7 so that is where the $$ is.
I think this place should turn that useless motosport section into the Bubba section, and filter all this shit to that section. Bubba thread problem solved.
As far as "getting down to business" or sticking with his branded number because that is "where the $$$ is"... if it was about the money, he would have stayed with JGR. This is about winning again. And IMO, things have gone downhill since he started running that stupid 7. Not that the number itself had anything to do with things, but I think its a symbol of that chapter of his career and it would symbolize moving on and getting back to the business of winning if he went back to his old number.
Fans seem to prefer the 259, maybe Im wrong about that, but it just seems to me that most of his fans would support the switch back.
Also, nothing is going to change even if he could run 259. He still had melt downs and huge crashes with the number.
I have no idea why people bitch so much. Partially its due to the Bubba fans themselves, whom can be rather annoying. Secondly is that there are indeed a lot of dumb threads regarding Bubba.
Maybe this is just another dumb one, who am I to judge. I simply thought it was a legitimate question to ask since many of his fans would prefer him go back to 259.
I guess people would rather prefer a thread about some moto dad throwing a rock at another kid and it somehow being tied to TWMX and Milestone MX and money conspiracies etc etc etc.
"Fans seem to prefer the 259, maybe Im wrong about that, but it just seems to me that most of his fans would support the switch back. "
Real fans just want him to ride and don't want to get bogged down in silly scenarios that don't really matter.
People that aren't fans could care even less.
The consequences for him not following the rule would be not being awarded points which would mean no championship.
Pit Row
The fact is that you are the first to show up and spout off about how James will dominate.....and then when he doesn't you disappear without a trace for months......or else show up and ridicule anyone that doesn't share your opinion.
Because of your inability to see reality somehow Whitey's screen name becomes a race issue?
You're a dick.
I have met Whitey he is a good dude he does happen to be white but since when is that a crime?
