I'd have to say RV on the 250f in the mx3 class would be the best choice for the team though. With JS on 450 and J-Law on the 250F

*ducks for cover*
Why what did Cairoli, do to you ?

Send over

Short or Mudflaps
Hamblin
Dungey

Nothing to me....can't say I ever had the opportunity to race the guy....

BUT....if you've ever watched any of the GP starts....or the MXdN (he at least tried I think...) and you'll know what I'm talking about.

If not him, then Ferry, or Windham.
Why in the hell would we send Windham? Yeah, let's ask the guy who hasn't raced all summer. Brilliant! From what I have read, He has only been on the bike once all summer for a charity ride.

I think he means RC, Dungey or Canard for the 3rd member of the team.

And yes, even though last year RC made it sound like a no-brainer that he'd continue to ride for the team if asked, just last week he gave a "are you kidding" response to the question. He said someting to the effect of, "it be cool for about 10-15 minutes" and that he has no idea what his schedule is like.

As much as I'd like to see him on the track I think he's done and LOVES not having to be in race shape anymore. Of course he could top 3 (or 2) any national this afternoon if he needed to.

I say JS, RV, & Ferry or Short or Dungey - in that order.

JS
RV
and whoever finishes 2nd in points in the 450 class. However, I would not be upset in any way if they let Hambone have the 3rd spot. He is the coolest thing happening in the Nationals this year and DOES have European experience.

Yeah, I agree with a healthy Hamblin being on the list.

pardon me, Chas. The quest of this thread is the selection of a THIRD person and I tendered three choices for that individual.

James & RV are a lock already.

Yeah....he'll be on the Aussie team for sure....

But who with is the big question.....

They usually pick Reed, who can still run pretty good in MX....

Reed, Byrne, Metcalfe ?

I hope they pick Metty since they left him out last year.....

The Kiwi team could have been good too.....Townley, Cooper....

Bring both Ferry and Short. Have them both ride practice and pick the faster of the two.

Who gives a rats ass about an all Kawi team, it just shows they have the best riders this year.

Use to be all Honda teams from the U.S in the '80s(Bailey, RJ, O'Show '86 name one).; only because of funding issues in the 80's w/AMA....if remember correctly.
Ferry, Short, Dungey all logical.
