Did you all catch that,??

Pulling tear-offs is one thing, but reaching up and pulling off a neck brace off during first lap triple was interesting to say the least,, I would have crashed in a big ole heap..

Dungey threw his off during the Atlanta 450 main. 2010 I think, and he tossed it near the mechanics area.

I noticed something fly into the other lane of track. After they showed the replay I was amazed how easily he removed and chucked it. Guess most injuries are in the 1st turn so he did not need it any more? LOL

I don't think Dungey did it over a triple though, did he? I could be wrong. The fact that Anderson did it over the jump makes it all the more impressive.

If that move was an olympic event, anderson would have taken home a gold medal....smooth as silk and never.missed a beat.

not that hard to grab and throw when its unlatched and falling off....hence the reason why he tossed it.

Excess weight = Lost power.
It was slowing him down so he hucked it.

He said it was unbuckled. Seemed to work pretty well on his parade lap crash, though.

Jason also said that he got it back after the race, and that it was undamaged. I think we're going to have to go with operator error on this one. Smile

I was thinking after the little smash up with Sipes he may have loosened it and then sitting on the line just forgot to clip it closed again.

That could of made a nice souvenir for someone, is it really a fault with the Leatt, or just a weird coincidence? Obviously it's happened a few times with other riders...

I figured he got to thinking about it, and said, "You know, if Chad doesn't wear one of these, I'm not going to either."

Bubba used to have the most stylish tear-off pulls after a sweet pass but that right there, looked damn cool!
He rode really strong as well, good to see some new blood on the podium.

Yes this is a totally easy move, one time while leading a race I ripped this totally nar nar tripple on the first lap and took my boot off to remove a pebble that was bugging me. I even put the boot back on and pulled a tear off before landing.

What he did was way easy compared to that bro.

sarcasm off

dboivin please submit a video of you leading a main, ripping a tripple and taking ANYTHING off while in mid air. Then you have the right to say how it wasn't a tough move..... Heck I would even be happy with you showing us a vid of you pulling tear off over a SX tripple.

Haha, exactly what I thought. AT first I thought he ripped off his goggles and then I was like holy hell, he pulled that off his neck!

lol. nowdays u wouldn't want that video. i can assure you in the my day that move wasn't so hard. i'm old and fat now...so wouldn't be worth much. I can still do a triple and pull a tear off tho, and that says its really not that hard.

listen, i didn't say it was a cakewalk...but these guys do this shit daily. i would hope he can grab an object and toss it while in the air. not much different than a tear off.

I would classify it as very different than a tear off. Have you worn a Leatt brace? It doesn't exactly fall off your neck if you pull it with one hand due to the contour.

since everyone is being anal about what i said. i went back and watched it for the 5th time. it dangles right before he launches and is half off. I give him credit it was slick how he did it, but i don't think it was all that 'crazy' special. geeze.

Ya it wasn't crazy special like he did a backflip while leading but it also isn't like a tear off. Didn't mean to be mr.anal aha
