James is sitting on 88 wins, and the King is at 89. Its funny to me that a lot of people on Vital say he never lived up to the hype and that he "sucks" now and is bad for the sport, McGrath won his 89th race in his 228th start, and James has won 88 races in 157 starts........ The numbers speak for themselves I'm not even a Stewart fan but the people on this forum are ridiculous. If he sucks, then who is good?
I'm hoping it didn't take those 36 posts to figure that out.

- 2005 he missed at least 11 Sx races
- 2006 he missed 16 Sx races
- 2008 he missed 15 Sx races
- 2009 he sat out all 12 Mx races
- 2010 he missed 15 Sx races
- 2010 he sat out all 12 Mx races
- 2011 he sat out all 12 Mx races
If you tally all those together, he has really only raced in 14 full series' (Sx and Mx) out of a 20 possible in 10 years. He's done a lot of winning for a little amount of racing if you ask me. I just wish he would have been racing full time for the last 3 years. It would have been glorious.
Supercross dont count it's just like freestyle, a side show!
However, he only has 5 major titles when he should have had many more. James should now be ahead of the other greats such as Ward, RJ, Stanton, and Hannah in titles....not tied with a 23 year old RV. A sad stat is that he only has that many starts. RC almost won as many races as Stewart started over 10 years. I think most agree that Stewart should be closer to RC in titles than to RV, let alone tied with him. He is an all-time great, but he didn't live up to what his career could have been.
It is conceivable that James never gets that next win.
another no show.But...But i have a plan B incase he does show. i'll sell just as many when he cant finish in the top
ten or when it becomes apparent he nolonger possesses that warp 9 speed he had years ago.I'll get rich.
"It is conceivable that James never gets that next win." I'm not even going to touch on that statement.
In 2006 he missed 0 sx races
In 2007 he missed 6 mx races
In 2008 he missed 14 sx races
In 2009 he sat mx out
In 2010 he missed 14 sx races and 11 mx races
In 2011 he sat mx out
In 2012 he is on pace to miss 6 sx races. And who knows mx.
I have corrected your stats
Conceivable, as in possible. It is very conceivable that James gets zero overalls if he rides the nationals. He could conceivably get 12 moto wins and not win an overall. He only won 2 SX this year after winning 5 last year. He could conceivably win nothing outdoors and be so frustrated that he retires. Conceivable.
Pit Row
2009 Misses 4 sx races misses 10 mx races
2010 misses 3 sx races and entire mx series
2011 PERFECT
2012 misses 2 sx races and entire mx series

What happened to Shorty? Did Larry and MC decide to unretire the KING!
Where's the PRESS Releases? C'mon man... LINKS! We NEED LINKS.
JS has lost more championships than he has won (or was expected to win) by crashing.
OK I can't factually base my statement, but "Park Boys'" numbers lend credibility.
