I've lurked on Vital for about a year now, but finally joined just to post in this thread.

I won his "JS7atwork" instagram photo contest last week. James himself gave me 5 VIP passes for this past weekend at Indy, 4 of my friends and I drove down on Saturday morning from Detroit. I got to talk with him for a little bit after the 2nd timed practice, he was all smiles, joking around and was genuinely appreciative of my fan support.

I was crushed when I saw the track workers pick him up to put him in the mule, and even more bummed when he didn't line up for the LCQ. I really hope he feels better for Toronto, he has had some incredibly bad luck this season...unfortunately it seems along with about half of the 450 field. This season has been brutal, and we've still got something like 6 races left...

Even if he sits out the next couple races he has a fan for life. Get well soon, Bubba!

I don't pretend to know anything about the JS7 camp, but I hope he sits out the rest of the SX's and gets ready for the outdoors. If he did get a concussion then he needs the time to get right. Maybe it's not that bad, I hope...

I want to see 1,5 and 7 go at it this summer

Good luck James!
X2, except for the Dunge...everybody knows he's not that fast, just lucky.

Hopefully his luckiness carries him through another few seasons...

Yeah, James has crashed several times, but I don't think he's fully out of whack. IMO he simply needs more seat time. He has been out for a whole season, and before that, was out for a long stretch. Prior to that he rode SX only. He's trying to rush himself on to the podium against some guys who are seriously fast. I know he wants the win, but he needs to relax a little and get some ride time. He certainly doesn't need to worry about explaining himself to any fans.

All I have to say is this year looks exactly like last and the JGR Yamaha looks exactly like his San Manuael Factory Yamaha. Love James but get off that bike, some people just will never get along but are fine around others, and some riders just dont get along with a bike but are fine with another.... (2 seconds faster a lap sounds like getting along to me).
This is jut me but I have a funny feeling that he may sit out the rest of the SX season, possible mx season to get the bike sorted out....just a thought I dont want to start any rumors, but if he isnt getting along with the bike and this being the final straw he may wait till outdoors since he is so far back and get healthy .... or maybe there are some internal things that he also may be sitting out for........Im 99% sure hes hurt but I think sitting out like this per his family when they are so adamant to race is kind of strange and goes along with him not getting along with the bike...... Please dont flame it wa a thought I had when I heard he was sitting out.....

Age is not on JS7's side. Windam is blessed to preform at his age. I am not sure James can settle for 2nd's 3rd's or worse on a regular basis. He pushes himself, that's what makes him exciting.

I kind of have the same feeling, although they are so close to finishing the supercross season in second place that I can't see them passing that up. That would be an accomplishment for JGR right there in itself.
I thought it was kind of weird that JBone said Big James had the final decision on James racing the other night.

I have had the pleasure of sitting in the rig with James at Kawi SX test track in corona a few years ago, also at his home here a couple times too - Im not in the industry but I can tell you this- He is a very cool dude and just wants to be happy and make people happy, friends and family and fans included and I for one am a huge RV fan but want to see James get back in there and do what he does best, which is why he is so important to this sport. If there is no james there is not as much excitment. I feel the same way about Jlaw.

JGR isn't exactly passing up 2nd in the championship by James sitting out. If he fails to score points and Dungey doesn't come back for a few more weeks, Davi is the next in line to finish 2nd in the points
