Kind of like the worst things to happen to moto thread but maybe alittle more descriptive?

ill start

TWMX Magazine - It's the motocross version of Dirt Rider..and dirt rider used to be a good magazine..TWMX is for the bro crowd and their articles are written for someone on a 6th grade reading level (the bro crowd) Thank god for MXA and RacerX.

4-strokes - ruining the sport, slowly but surely. stagnating wages, lack of paying jobs and increased cost of living in the US will put a damper on MX unless things turn around. Motocross used to be known as one of the most affordable forms of motor racing but these days you need to be part of the 1% to afford it if you ride a thumper. Mark my word, if things keep going the way they're going SX will be something of the past and MX racing will be more akin to ATVA nationals or the AMA superbike series.

Hardpack dirt - sucks to ride on, isn't fun, hurts when you fall!!

Bratty racer kids - not all moto kids are brats but ive seen enough punk kids at the track and they deserve a serious ass kicking..ungrate disrespectful little shits whose parents hand them everything..i hate punks (ironic because i used to be a punk)

js7 haters - i feel like every james stewart hater i come across hates him because hes black. i cant help but LOL when people talk smack cause he gets 5ths once in awhile. /flamesuit on for this one lol ..derp derp derp

I can be extremely critical of James often, and there is no shortage of excessive hate on him around here, and it is downright annoying at some times, however I highly doubt a substancial percentage of the hatred he receives is due to him being African American. At the very least I can tell you that I couldn't give a rat's ass what ethnicity a racer is, and I imagine most people are of that same mindset. There are a lot of things to be critical of for James, his skin color isn't and never should be one.

PS: Number 6 - Nickelback-because Nickelback is on every negative list that exists in this world.

Four strokes are def hurting in my opinion
punkass kids are a result of the internet and if you spank your kid your going to have dfs called on you

The internet. The sport was cool before the internet. Your personal results were all you had to follow the sport. Pro riders? Who cares? We bought a copy of a magazine a couple times a year and used it to soak up oil in the garage later the same day.

The internet is not going away but the hero worship/fanboy shit has killed off my desire to follow the pro aspect of the sport. I could care less if I ever see a picture of a pro rider again. I love the bike pics and the track pics. They could take the numbers and names off the bikes/riders and nothing would change for me. I watch how they ride and nothing more. The day I stop riding/racing I will stop following the sport.

Obnoxious ear piercing 4 stroke exhaust noise. It's become the death sentence of to many MX tracks.

The injuries in SX.
Out of the top 5 that started, how many will ride the final event?

They've always been a part of the sport, but geez, anyone going to be left to run the Nats?

+1

Some of you two stroke taliban people are kidding yourself if you think motocross was inexpensive pre-4 strokes... It's always been expensive... the bike, gear, parts/maintenance, going racing... It's a motorsport - They aren't cheap to participate in. And yea, best TV SX package, best ratings ever, motorcycle sales are up for the first time in 5 years... things are really going downhill.

1. Spoiled brats with an attitude
2. Home Schooling
3. Rednecks /NASCAR fans
4. The Metal Mulisha
5. Injuries
6. Brown nosing. I guess this can be related to the home schooling part too. People are affraid to speak up unless they are behind a keyboard. And if a rider (preferably home schooled) disagrees, the individual with an opinion is flamed and the rider is told how much they love his riding, that he kicks ass etc byt the "crowd". Next day these same individuals can be found flaming the rider and calling him names in a different setting. At times, motocross seems like an all girls high school. When I listen to PulpMX this becomes all to evident. You have guys who disagree on things, and they will act like 14 year old girls in the pits, not talking to each other, refusing to work together in the future. The list goes on forever. The industry should at least act like professionals, but the majority of them don`t either.

I would like to see a greater variety of track conditions in the AMA Nationals. I really enjoyed watching Steel City last year because it was super hard packed and basically something different. South wick is always interesting to. But other than that every track seems to be disc'd deep and super fast. How about introducing something totally different, like a true sand track (as Lommel is over in the GPs) to the National series. I also miss Binghamton.

Totally impractical I guess but I would love to see it.

Well as long as we are b!^@#ing about stuff.

6) Sandbaggers

I think 4 strokes cause more injury, but look at the statistics in other sports as well.. Injurys are going up. When the level of competion is being pushed to the edge, injurys will go up.. Just a point to think about..

REMEMBER: Statistics are very easy to manipulate one way or the other.

The Bro-freestlyer-flatbill-look at my tatoos and redneck truck, goon riding idiots that seem to be at every MX track on an open weekend. I am not against the weekend warrior but I am against the this bunch of idiots. In my youth (some time ago) it seemed like because I rode dirt bikes I was a hoodlum and must be a member of the Hell's Angles. That image seems to have gone away but replaced with the Metal Melisha wanna bees image. So when the average non dirtbike person sees a group of these idiots on TV thats what us serious folks get categorized into. Really pisses me off. This does not help our sport in the public's eye.

Meeting new people off the track who ride and everyone is a fucking rockstar. I've literally never met anyone for the first time that rode that admitted they weren't that good. Then you get to the track and are like really? Fukkin pro beginners
