I have a feeling James is realizing he's got a good job, with a good future, and is going to work.
The Toyrs Are Us dinners, the pulpmx interviews, stuff he hasn't been famous for is suddenly on his plate.
Maybe he's thinking, 2 more years at the grindstone and that's it, Gibbs is happy, McGrath's record and a Nascar ride
are mine, and I'm gone.

Think of the money he could make driving in circles....................

You guys can sit here and bitch until your balls fall off, and that is fine by me, however, as for myself, i'll be standing on the fence at Budd's Creek and maybe Steel City watching him toss that thing around like a rag doll.

As for the MXoN team, we are going to need all our guns this year at Lommel, (it IS at Lommel, right?) that place has not been groomed since Moses raced Abraham in the 125 class. I heard a couple of braking bumps swallowed a KTM 65SX and it's rider and they never found the body.

Yes, the First and only time James raced a 250F was Glen Helen 2004. On the first lap he had a huge lead already!

I remember him sayingsomething like it was too easy on the 250f and took all the fun out if. Does anyone have that race to post up? He killed it for sure on the 250f.

There is something weird about the fan/athlete relationship. Stewart in particular is (IMO) the very best this sport has ever seen and this thing with him not fe-e-e-e-eling like doing the nationals, his bad decisions on & off the track have pissed me off. If I had 1/10 of his talent I sure wouldn't throw it away by being an indulgent, angry, spoiled brat. Or would I? What a minute, when I was his age I was still smoking, drinking, and popping pills like there was no tomorrow. I changed jobs every year or two and nobody could tell me how to live my life. Still can't. So I am guessing that we project the best of who we are onto these athletes and expect them to not only perform to the highest level for our entertainment but be equally gifted as human beings. Glad I don't have his job...

Man, that is awesome... I hope he is truly doing this as a racer and not because of contractual agreements!

I will definitely be on the lookout for anyone bad mouthing James at the lakewood outdoors and I will be using them as my lawn chair the rest of the day!

Looking forward to seeing James in the outdoors! I might even travel now to another race.

He has an option to do them so I doubt it's because of contracts.

IMO he unfairly acquired this rap that he doesn't want to do the nationals. He was on a team that didn't do them. What was he supposed to do? Fund the deal out of his own pocket? No other rider would do that either. Even Reed last year wasn't going to do the nationals until Honda gave him a bike to ride. His team was planning supercross only.
