i am really surprised that MXA hasn't offered to sponsor Ricky, at least to a small degree. They are obviously very pro-2 stroke. C'mon MXA....... shoot some coin Ricky's way...... put your money where your mouth is.

i own and like both engine types but man was it ever nice to hear that 2 stroke screaming on an SX track again!

Ricky and Ryan- awesome effort!!!! we had a house full saturday night and though most of them ride 4 strokes, all of us were cheering for you guys!

on a side note....... Kdub has said that he has thought about riding a 2 stroke in 2014....... Kdub is already a legend, if he did indeed ride a 2 stroke in his last year, he would GO OUT A GOD......... at least as far as i am concerned.

would be even better if he did it on a honda since they are the 2 stroke anti-christ.

Yeah... I think Ricky's interviews need more FLARE too. Maybe a cape and some glitter gloves or maybe he can hold a sparkler.

Americans like a good underdog. We like to see older riders win and succeed, and we love seeing older bikes rip and beat new supposedly better bikes.

As someone who has worked in moto for years, Matthes ought to know and support that desire better than any of us. So he's burned out on the old days. Stop being such a wet blanket and try to tap into the excitement and hope we have for Ricky (and Ryan Smith).

Hoping we see RR in the night show again, before the years out.. on a 144.. I mean "125".

seriously, all i got out of Matthes's rant after ricky got off was that he dispises 2 strokes, and will do anything he can do keep them away.

what i heard when ricky and him were talking was that

its fair to race a 125 or 144 against 250f's but not fair if the cc's were equal...ya...that makes a TON of sense to me...

Of course, and his guest made an issue that factory bikes have always been faster than privateer bikes, to justify the DOUBLE disadvantage Renner/Smith had this weekend.

Go Team Renner, and Ryan Smith if you decide to make another go of it this year. The fans know what we want better than Matthes does.

Keep up the great work ricky.

By the math this sounds like it would make more money for priavteers that can qualify on a 2 stroke with the bonuses guys on here have been throwing in than for them to ride the 4 pokes

local guy from my district, Ryan Smith, was there and made the main on a 2-stroke as well. Maybe not perform as well as a 4 stroke but makes me happy to still see them active in the line up. Nice work! Keep it up!

Over say the last 6 years I could care less for Supercross. When watching Daytona I felt like a kid again. Super excited to see Ricky do well. Hope he decides to ride the YZ in New Orleans.

Any word on getting Ryan involved?
