Looking good number 1E. His critics are AWFULLY quiet now. If he and Tomac are able to bring it in the outdoors as well, could be a long season for everyone else.

I think racing the 450 last year outdoors really helped him, he's riding like a champ no doubt.

Why wouldn't Roczen race Outdoors? Barcia looked awesome last years sx too. RC even said something about Roczen being a diff animal outdoors. Love to see BamBam on a 450 sx though, he's got the knack for stadiums

Get used to BAMBAM............ He's gonna be around for a while and there's going to be Championships in his future.

I think so too. I think Barcia will be an instant force in the 450s as well. There are some FAST guys coming up, that will rock it on a 450. Seely, Barcia, Wilson, etc etc.... man, its going to be fun to watch.

Barcia is wasting time in the LItes class... that guy is more needed in the 450 class!

Roczen vs Barcia outdoors will be interesting though. Considering he barely got beat last year in the GPs, I wonder if SX might humble Roczen a bit? Wonder if that could potentially affect him going into the Outdoors... Just a thought.

Barcia has really improved his riding this year. He used to be balls to the wall and just go crazy but know he is silky smooth with a whole lot of speed. In my opinion he is riding a lot like villipoto, consistent, fast, and winning a lot of races.

Its all about confidence at this level.

Roczen isn't (or at least hasn't proved to be yet) a strong enough match for Barcia. Justin's just too fast for everyone indoors.

However it's still early days and what looks to be a brilliant season can all too easily go the way of the dinosaur in a matter of seconds e.g Tomac's troubles in SD.

If Ken can win one in a straight up battle, I'd expect Daytona as the most likely candidate.

thats very true roczen showed amazing speed last year in practice many times posting the fastest laps but was wild and crashed alot but showed heart and determination like rv. he slowly came around last year and did win the shootout race in vegas. this year getting hurt might have slowed him a bit but im sure hes taking a different approach and learning every weekend. i think if he finishes in the top 3 in sx that would be great. then he can pour it on in the outdoors

Kroc had nothing for him. I would be surprised if anybody could match his speed indoors. Outdoors is another question. Even though he killed it on the 450 at the end of last year, he really sucked on the 250. Don't think it was all mono, either.

I hope he does better outdoors on the 250 this year. Seems like he was just trying too hard last year.

Justin is in the zone indoors, he has been really working hard.

He rides a 450 better outdoors and I think he just pushed too hard on the 250F last season.

I agree, the Daytona track is more "outdoors" than any other. Especially since RC is building the track. Roczen will have his best chances at beating Barcia there.

You have to be impressed with Barcia regardless of his known ability indoors. He seems to have stepped up his game and looks rock solid. His self inflicted boot camp and working with Stanton are indicators also that this kid deadly serious. I will be surprised if he doesn't take care of business at Daytona also and I am optimistic about his chances outdoors too. To me not only does Justin look better his bike seems stronger to me. I'd love to see him and Roczen battle in MX!

Not just Tomac but Bogle too! He's been putting his lap times up there with Barcia.
