Not really, but I would still take that over any stupid rap or hip hop song. At least these are real musicians who actually play instruments. Not some gansta goof rhyming words to computer generated music while some idiot spins a turntable.

My pops heard the song and immediately left the room. He was pumped on the racing and everything. He came back to watch during the middle of the first lites heat and his first words were "I hate that stupid Ride On song." I died laughing and spit out my soda.

Are you really putting Emig, Carmichael, Bailey, Weigant, Coombs, Bates and even Shaheen in the same boat as Brett Michaels?

It takes me until about halfway through the 1st heat race to recover from it every week. Whatever, I'll tune in just to support the sport and make sure the channels that do the same are getting time in my living room. Still, if I were to try to introduce a friend to the sport I would have to figure out a way to distract them for the first few minutes of the program so they didn't see that. It's embarrassing, no other way to put it.

As much as I hate the song and Bret Michaels, I do love hearing it when it comes on because that means the supercross coverage is on speed and not CBS so that's really the only reason Im glad it comes on because I know the coverage will be pretty good at least.
