People who thought those crazy ass bids on ebay were legitimate were just clueless. All the BS on here about their collectability was insane at those prices. Like OC said "if I won the lottery", but to spend hard earned money, no frikkin way at that price. The prices listed here are a lot more realistic, however the "OBO" says something about their confidence level in getting those prices for them.

Very impressive.

I'd love to get my hands on a Chad Reed 2011 race bike.

Hey knownothingasusualmoron......they are selling his 2011 bikes.
You should try reading and having some actual knowledge before proving over and over again what an idiot you are.

We talked with Chad Reed's Team Manager Dave Osterman, and they're looking to sell some of the 2011 bikes they still have. Check them out out:

"As is" condition? No warranty?

Forget that. I'm going for the cylinder on ebay with the powerband.

As someone stated above, these are the 2011 bikes that Reed's team put together themselves. Pretty sure he’s running factory bikes this year which are not his property

The ones for sale are last year's bikes. They've been for sale for a long time.

How much could a used 450 actually be worth? If it was any normal persons bike for sale everyone would be bagging on them about expecting to get anything for all the aftermarket accessories. No works parts, right? All the aftermarket stuff is supposed to be free on a used bike isn't it?Wink

Yeah, but think of the future value, after someone has totally roached the bike out, of being able to post it on craigslist as a former AMA Supercross champion Chad Reed bike. Even though they've spray painted the plastic black and cut out the airbox for hand holds...

these bikes would have to be considered unrideable put on the back of the garage. or better yet in your basement, long term investments. unless of course you win the lotto.
