I know nobody else would agree with me, but I think it would be cool to do something very simple. A more modern replica of Guy Cooper's ride from 1990 just screams awesome to me. I personally think the simple, understated, all business look just oozes the "factory" feel.

Ricky's 2005 bike...the wheels are SICK, just wish they had black hubs, I really think the colour would "pop" more with them.

The cernic's bike isn't too "weird" but very good looking with the traditional yellow.

Very "vanilla" looking Rockstar bike, good looking, but one in a million type deal.
the cernics bike was mine. that was my 01 rm265

had an 07 rm265 with same kit, i liked the stock blue seat better

I designed these graphics with the blue theme and it gets a lot of compliments. You can't see the blue hubs in this shot but it looks pretty good.

I've been looking at the local CL's...... for a 04-06 RM250

--- here's one of my ideas.... or at least 1 that I'm sharing. Black wheels or yellow. I've had yellow on my old rmz, now I have black on my new rmz--- to many peeps running yellow now.
Dirt DNA can do it, or any custom imagined

--- Any good deals???? Nocal/ Central Valley Area?

----- I've heard 04+ are the best years, how were the 01-03's?? Any info would help

I agree...I love the look of these bikes, back when it was about the machine and not 3 different title sponsors.

A modern interpretation of this - as decal free as possible - would sure be sweet

Nice pipe. What brand, or is it a stocker with seam removed and torched to look like a cone?

This is what I was thinking of doing, it's between this or a newer factory replica. I don't know how it would look with the new yellow though and It also leaves a large part of the tank bare but maybe I could put a spin on it. The white Pastrana bike looks good but the white tank may be a problem.

I like the rear number plates, did you just cut them? Also, did you have right side up forks on this bike or was that someone else that I'm thinking of?

Thanks! I got the graphics printed up by Bryar @ 180decals.com. He was really easy to work with. The number plate graphics were done by Decal Works. I had the seat made up by N-Style. It is kind of a conglomeration I guess you could say! Wink

I was actually going to go with the blue/white Travis Pastrana bike look, but the tank kept me from doing it.

This. Do THIS. Blue engine and frame. Yellow plastic. Go for it and post them pics while you're working on it.

Yes it's the stock pipe with the seams ground down & I welded the rings on it to give it that old school works coned look & to make people ask questions about it :-) I've tried many pipes & with my engine mods the stock pipe with a shortened PC shorty works the best (for me). Yes, I had conventional forks on it last year & I loved them but I kept blowing forks seals. I lucked into the set of kit stuff that I have now & couldn't be happier with it.

Has that thing ever been ridden?? Or are those new bike pics? Looks pristine! Mine is the same year, and didn't have stock graphics on it when I got it. I really want some stock ones now!

Edit: Ironically, my bike also had 92 on it when I bought it.
