only other bike you could add to this list to be the worst ever is the 2007 YZF450
if you ride smooth shit and dont turn much its a beauty haha
bright.
never heard anything bad about the first gen alum frame yz450s
It was by far the best MX bike I've ever ridden. It's now the only dirt track bike I've ever ridden. Riding an 07 CR250 smoker for MX now.
I also sat in on a YAM testing meeting with other random racers or weekend trail riders at a catered dinner with some Japaneese engineers to discuss design plans for their future bikes and our (average consumers) responses to YAM ideas, and anyone in the room that rode or raced on tracks said the same thing about the 07 yam.
The 08 Honda 450 I switched over to was pretty good, but ended up taking fast chop to violently and had too much shake in the front end compared to my 05 honda (the rake was off or something). I never did find a fix to that, the 08 took huge hits good, just was a rough ride. The 09 Honda was an absolute pile ask anyone that raced it in 09, yikes. Milsaps and other Honda riders wanted back on the 08 once that 09 hit, then 2010 was a relief to the 09 mess. From 2011 on i guess they got all issues worked out on the hondas.
The only people that I hear like that 09 is someone that dont race motocross with it.
