What racing event should it be compared to? How about NASCAR? Ever see 3 or 4 bikes go side by side for an entire lap ever on a SX or MX track? In NASCAR as well, guys often get their lap back and a caution brings them back a full lap. Some have even won races after being a lap down.

I still say the problem is bigger than just saying they were "battling" for spots because Goerke was getting lapped by Chisholm and was 2 laps down to the leaders and was possibly the worst offender in the not pulling over department. He had absolutely no excuse. Now I also know that most here have raced and certainly have been stuck behind someone they were MUCH faster than but could not get around with ease. Nothing worse than a lapper who gets motivated when being lapped and thinks he somehow is NOW going to make that charge to get his lap back after 3/4 of the race is done.

Back to the regular program....look at the lap times and the 800 was on avg 3 seconds a lap slower than the leaders-pull over man, you aren't in the race, or any of the others for that matter. And this isn't a place for kids and if your kids are on it, they shouldn't be, and if they are they probably get the comments-I have 4 so don't lecture me on the subject.

And yet, were talking about 800 holding up 22, but seems RV got around 800 just fine when he lapped him...

and yes getting stuck behind some one slower is a drag, but that is part of the race (mainly a SX problem cause most track are so 1 lined and short lap times)

and it is called racing.....

From my viewing point the lappers add a bit of excitement to the race. Last weekend more than half the field was lapped. Next time you see a lapper buy him a cup of coffee,or maybe just a handshake and a thank you. Let's just let them know we appreciate their sacrifice and service. I it's MA800 maybe a hug.

maybe they should install a red idiot lite on or around all 20 main event bikes crossbar pads so when that rider is getting lapped it would flicker.
