Remember this Cool 80's Item??? Share yours

Back in the day when I was coming up through the ranks I used to win all kinds of stuff... tracks used to give out contingencies from sponsors... my family didn't buy sodapop for at least 5 years because I was always winning flats of them. Anyhow, I had all sorts of neat stuff, skeleton Fox winter gloves, the knit kind with the traction on the palm, sunglasses, tshirts, etc...

And I also won this bad boy! I was going through some of my stuff in my "momentos" box and thought I'd take a photo of it... it's a custom painted Troy Lee Designs Beach Visor, probably from around 1989... if I remember correctly the designs were pretty individualized and no two were alike. It's in mint condition and I plan on keeping it forever. The background is airbrushed, the black squigglies are brushed, the logo is a sticker, and there is a clearcoat over the top.

I think it is actually from the 89-91 time period because it says on the underside "Intrepid", and that's what TLD was calling their visors then.

Anyhoo, what do you guys think? What other cool 80's casual wear do you still have?

My coolest 80's thing would have been my first dirbike at the age of 6! A 1986 Suzuki DS80, all yellow with a blue seat, ahhh the good old days!

I grew up with Yamaha mini star Troy Blake and he gave me bags full of parts for these, every cool color you could imagine. Needless to say i was the envy of all my friends when I showed up with a different setup evertime, haha.

This was the early 80's for me. It was all about the YZinger campaign. It even came with the Bob Hannah #1 on it. I know it's not casual wear, but I thought the advertisement was cool. It was bullshit though, some of the guy's dads used to swap that motor out for the Jawa scooter engine and those were hard to hang with. LOL

I bought out all of Vintage Iron's Scott facemasks..all 3 of them around '93 or so. Now I can't find Scott goggles that they'll fit on.

i remember having to race against a couple of local kids in the early 90's around here that had PW50s all decked out by PAX. Used to piss me off, then in 1994 i saw the first cobra 50 and by then i was on 60's/80's and was completely blown away by that little thing. PW50's are awesome, i want to build a full PAX pw for my kid ( when i have one, lol), just because they are the shit.
