i think one legit change could be to have an age breakdown of how old/young you are. such as 10-20, 20-40, 40+ next to your name.

Even though I don't fall in the 10-20 category, the veracity, grammar and maturity of posters in that demographic would vary so wildly I doubt it would add anything. Like that kid doing burnouts in the pits on his 85 and not looking before entering the track generally has less to say then a 20 year old privateer that's trying to make it in the sport.
