I was thinking about this movie just last week. I can barely remember anything about the movie since I only saw it once, but I remember reading an article in DB about it and thinking how cool that bike looked.

I was at the Dallas Supercross when they were filming that movie . Can't remember what year that was . I was wrenching for Brian McElroy on his Cagiva 250. The other bike was the funny looking one though. It was supposed to have been thrown together with junk parts because the Bad Guys had destroyed the Hero's race bike .It had a Capt'n America tank and some funky looking street bike parts .

Yup. Hollyweird really did a number on 'ol Ricks 82 YZ250. Hard to believe they could take such a horrible bike, and actually make it worse.

I hear there's a Facebook page for Rick, "RickMelon123", personally I prefer staying away from the whole Facebook craze...

See what happens when ya get old ?
Not only could I not remember the year, but I got the wrong movie .
D'oh !!!!

Let me redeem myself by remembering a scene where the guy is in the port-o-jon
as his moto is ready to drop the gate. He comes running out and jumps on the bike just in time.
Right movie ?
They called him "Wide Open " Willie

I remember the Sidewinder bike had graphite wheels or mags on it. They said they really caught the wind.

I saw that bike last year at the Gatorback AHRMA race. I was walking the pits and noticed some photographers taking pics of it.. I thought it won an appearance award or something. I didn't realize it was a movie bike. Never heard of that movie before. Now I want to see it. Where can i find the torrent?
