I spent $35 when I pulled in the parking lot on Saturday but I never got the shirt that I thought surely must be included in the price.

I like to buy a couple of t-shirts at outdoor races, so something like $50. The supercross T-shirts just don't do it for me.

Price of admission x 2 or 4 (depending how many of my family members attend).

Bring my own snacks/water

Maybe one beer ($9.00-$10.00) and one soda($6.00)

I attend up to 4 SX's and one National a year.

I would have spent a lot more if they actually sold Monster at a Monster event.

I don't usually spend much, I've bought shirts/hats over the years, BUT I'd spend more if the riders outside of the top tier guys had merchandise to sell.

At the Phx round they give them away right before you go into the pits and then tell you, NO drinks in the pits! So all the free monster drinks ar thrown right in the trash.

After spending over $200 for just the "essentials" (2 tickets, parking, food, etc), I find it tough to spend $30 on a t-shirt that has WAY too much going on. They need to simplify their designs and maybe I'd consider it.

Last year I spent about $150 tickets an all. This year add about 6 beers to that. The wife hates driving in ATL... She's just gonna have to suck it up Wink

Tickets w/full on god passes - free

Total cost...........Approx; $1800.00

Hanging out in the Geico pits, meeting Trey and his family then watching him win his first SX....

Lets see, Tickets for vegas are $70, An event shirt is usually $25, a couple beers at like $8 a piece, and usually a pretzel or nachos or something. We usually keep a cooler or 2 of beer in the van outside so we just drink a couple before we go in, and then wait for traffic to clear drinking a few more

That's because there's an endless supply of free monster in the pits...

You don't get out much do you? Try going to a football game, and you'll get charged just as much.

Ususally about $100 for a couple shirts, beer, food, etc..

The whole weekend for me and my chick at Indy last year was around $200 - that includes tickets, gas, parking and everything above.

No SX for me, not until it's less of a "SHOW" and more of a race! I'm not wild about all the screaming, fireworks, and short moto's.

Millville last year was the 2 boys and I, tickets w/ pit pass, a couple of shirts, food, umbrella for rain/sun, probably in the neighborhood of $300-$400.

if they would allow the riders to sell their own merchandise (like at Nascar) then i would spend a lot more than i do. the event shirts are lame, i just don't see myself wearing them. but the TwoTwo hats (team hats not for sale) are dope as f*ck...

Usually $0, sometimes Ill buy a t-shirt if it has that events cities name on it. Most of the time the T-shirts are too loud and tacky looking.

Ill have a nice dinner in town before the race and I never drink at sx races. I only go to maybe one sx a year and I dont want to have my senses or memory diminished by alcohol.

If there was something to buy that didn't have a fucking Monster logo the size of a ghetto blaster I'd spend some money. Individual riders/teams need to be able to sell their own stuff.

As far as how much would I spend? typically not a dollar at sx on merchandise but at the nationals where there are shops on hand who can sell, it really depends on what they have. I think we spent 100 bucks or so at Pala last year and over 500 bucks the year before at the empty inaugural glen helen gp.

We went to our first SX (St. Louis) and National (Redbud) last year and I thought the National was by far the better value. The SX tickets were not too horrible, but the concessions were a beat down at $10.00 beers, $6.00 waters etc… The shirts were lame and we did not buy any. There was also so much downtime between the practice, qualifying and then the huge gap until the night program started when you are just sitting there watching the track maintenance. At the national, you haul your own drinks, snacks etc.. and Redbud does not place restrictions on bringing your own beer if you are camping etc.. like many of the other Midwest national tracks. Almost rather watch the SX races from home but we are going to try Indy this year.

Last year my kids did me in. Two tshirts, two sno cones, two beers for dad and I and a parking spot. That's over $100 at Jerry World! We ate before we went Smile

Ha. No kidding. The Mariners will be playing next door again this year for the Seattle round. Last time this happened, every lot was $50+ within half a mile of the stadium. At 9AM.
