I can't watch the video here at work, but I thought this might be worth posting if it actually shows the incident..

insanity! JL was riding like a madman. Those kinds of takeout moves should be illegal...he should spend the night in jail...
6/23/2008 6:58am
Damn if Jlaw deserve a night in jail for that, I would have gotten life for some of that stuff I did.

Thanks for the link,

Dungey said he needs to learn how to do takeout moves?
Looks like he needs to learn what a takeout is first.

Yeah.. it sure shows in the race resutls who owns who. Will Jlaw finish in the top 5 when all is said and done?

The vid though is just racing. I don't wee why RD got miffed over that.

I think what happened in Supercross proved who owns who.

If "owning" some one means pissing someone off by on and off track stupid antics, then Jlaw owns RV, RD and i am sure many others including local C riders on practice tracks plus who knows how many other pros he has messed with and "owns". Are you Jlaw supporters proud of him and his methods of "owning" ? Just wondered.

JLaw spotted Dungey a race during the SX championship and still won it. He got in Dungey's head and by the sound of Dungey now, JLaw is still in his head.

There is a good and a bad to Jason Lawrence's method of seemingly not caring as much as the other riders. The bad is that he won't always live up to his potential. The good is that nobody will ever get in his head. I doubt he gives a shit about Dungey's press conference.

The only thing I saw was Dungey riding the wrong direction on the track. I can't beleive the AMA did not dock him positions for that.

that was only a shitty move if JL was being lapped. Not a fan of JL, but he clearly had position on RD and held his line.

I played that vid a couple of times. Like stop a nd play it, so i could get like frame by frame.. It looks as if Lawrence doesn't even touch him, but i can't tell from the angle. I mean com'on, if he's bitching about something like that, damn, i think a couple kids should have shot me. Honestly, he just tried to find a reason to make a big deal out of Lawrence. Now it's Dungey's turn to make mental issues with JLaw. I don't think it's going to play into Jason, but from his press conference, i think he just is trying to make everyone favor him instead of JLaw if the do get into another tango, so then, Ryan won't be fined by the AMA, just Jason.
My two cents....

Point is that he ran down Lawrence.......caught him and passed him clean on the inside where the video starts.......

...only then did Lawrence compete for the next corner and AND AND only because Dungey got stuck behind that lapper where Lawrence pushed him wide.

Pretty much yeah, that's racin' say's all the guy's who don't race.

I think Dungey has a right to be miffed. He may not have been wise to put it out there for the consumption of you internet idiots but point is.........good chance Lawrence never finishes ahead of Dungey again this year.

Racin or not it's always lame to bump with the guy that just ran you down.

Are you being serious?
6/23/2008 9:12am
Dead serious.

You catch a guy and then get caught behind the lapper and he moves over on you?

Seems kinda lame to me.

He barely touched him.

It don't take much to knock someone over. Who know's....maybe he pushed him in to that crud left by the tractor blade when they took the mud off the track and then the stuff got all hard like a cement curb

point was that dungey was stuck behind the lapper and lawrence saw his opportunity after just having been passed cleanly in the prior turn.

We'll see what happens next......

How about when you ride with Jason Lawrence? Does he push you to go faster? Does he show you any Pro tricks?
Jay definitely pushes me when I ride with him. He will always be the first person to say something if I stop riding early or something. I think about it as he looks out for me just as much as he does for himself with how much I need to ride. Other then that we usually do a few motos but in between them we throw in the occasional take out moto. I think that helps alot though with learning to be aggressive and charging that much harder into a turn to try and come up right next to some one. The only downfall is that other people out there are trying to moto or something and we might roost them trying to roost each other but we have been trying to cut down on that. But when we ride like at Englishtown, no matter what I will try and do whatever I can to keep up with him so undoubtedly riding with him definitely pushes me to go faster. And as of the Pro Tricks the only ones I can think of is ramping some sickkkk jumps haha.

Funny how we can look at 14 seconds of video and think that will tell a complete story.

Jlaw got in Dungey's head during SX, no doubt. I don't see him as long term competition but I'm not on the track either.

I'd say Jason better get to work, or he might not have a ride to get to work on if his bad decision making doesn't change.

How many ads do you see with Jlaw? How many do you see with Dungey? I guess that answer tells a bigger story than most other questions here..
