3 races in and the only guy to be on the box all three times. Now he has the points lead!

If Chad doesn't take this Championship ( and I really hope he does - you know, third round winner = series champ ) than I would LOVE to see Ryan D take it!

So pumped for both these guys!

more dangerous than "who" might think....... if anyone thought that RD5 was less of a threat because of the color of his plastic, they need to have their head examined. the top 4 guys will always be top 4 regardless of what they ride. still amazes me how much "stock" guys put into brand loyalty...... RD5 should have hammered that home 3 races ago....... heck, JS7 never seems to have gelled with the new Yami and he can still win if he can keep it on 2 wheels. it is far from rocket science.

Also, do you mean bad luck like getting a terrible start or crashing, or bad luck like you never make any mistakes but your bike breaks and possibly causes you two championships?

Those are different kind of bad lucks to me.

If dungey had half the aggression of his competition, he would be even more of a threat

The "who" I refer to is all the idiots on here the past week who tried to discredit Dungey's win last week, say it was a gift, RV crashed, bla, bla, bla............

I never have questioned Dungey's speed, skill, determination, whatever - the guy is straight up bad-ass, and being the only guy to see the box all three times so far SHOULD shut the RV fanboys up.

But it won't. Whistling

There was an article in Australian Dirt magazine that basically ruled him out saying he has no chance for the championship, fucking laughable.
"THE RON LECHIEN DIVISION"
-Maybe some race wins, definitely some podiums and very good riders who have no chance to win the title.
-Ryan Dungey
-Brett Metcalfe
-Kevin Windham

Bubba might have a different point of view on that whole plastic color thing! BlueBubba crashes a lot more than GreenBubba ever did.

Yeah, but he went down, got a bad start, etc. Dungey didn't.

And coming WITHIN a second of a podium spot is NOT a podium spot. Dungey has been there all three times. Poto has not.

There.

But he didnt. Impressive rides, yes, but he didnt finish the job. Even he will say he has to limit mistakes. Mistakes and mechanicals lose championships.

but he (JS7) is a still top 4 guy...... even on a bike that he clearly doesn't get along with.

dirtnapper- i was agreeing with you. ;^) having said that, i still think RV is the man to beat this year, the kid is on fire. i'd be happy to see either of the two take the championship.

on a different note, it is too bad the canard morias thing happened...... we may have finally gotten to see a one on one battle between the two ryans..... they were starting to gap everyone quick.

i think that anybody with a pea brain and half a clue knows dungey is a bad mofo that can win and has won at any time and many times.

any pecker pilot that says that anybody didn't win straight up right after winning a sx event is a jackoff...we know it and they know it

A top four guy for Bubba is horrible! I don't know how bad the bike is (I probably couldn't tell) but all of the sudden he's struggling to stay upright for 20 laps.

Even with all the other stuff he has going on, he didn't forget how to ride a bike! This guy used to run with the GOAT consistently, and now this. I feel bad for him eventhough I'm not a fan, and I hope he starts winning some races. I don't like to see anyone struggle that much!

i agree and i am also not much of a fan of his.

what i am getting at is he is on a bike that he doesn't seem to get a long with, seems to have lost some of his edge, but can't be completely counted out to with the whole thing. my point is, the color of the bike doesn't mean as much as the guy behind the bars.

All the sudden? Where have you been for the last 8 years? Unsure

Thankfully all of his crashes haven't been severe.

Dungey had enough bad luck last season, he should be good for a couple years now Cool
