How's the re-launched JT Racing gear selling in your area?
Is it in the stores, selling through and being seen out at the local race tracks?
What sort of response have they had from the public?
Just wonderin!

I have seen it all over San Diego....it's been selling really well according to a buddy who has a shop and stocks it. I've seen it every time I've gone to a track...not a ton of people have it but it's definitely out there. It's priced the same as all the other gear and I like it...I bought 3 set's and it's holding up really good. I like the way it looks...

I kinda like it. Although the ONEAL Ultra Light is really cool retro also.

I'd like to buy the orange/black helmet to race snowmobiles in. Either they don't make it or I suck at the interwebs.......

Ah, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder :-), most of the new gear looks like a 3rd grader with ADD on a acid trip designed it to me, but in all fairness I'm not hip and think rap sucks as well....in other words OLD

Wish I was fast enough to wear out gear. I would buy a set of the JT stuff. Still rocking Fox gear from like 2004 and it's still like new. Maybe around 2015 I will be on the market.

I think the gear looks good but I would never buy that helmet. The front of it is too short. If the design was like a Shoei it would look a lot better.

Gear is OK, helmet looks too dated for my taste.

The paint would match the gear fine if it was on a better looking shell.

He is reffering to the new gear and young people liking the new style gear that is out there. I personally HATE almost all the new gear out there, its way too busy and bright. I like clean, straight lines and mild colors. I think most companies have 13-14 year old girls designing the gear.Smile

Was very close to taking it through the checkout at BTOsports, but it's just too expensive/not worth forking out the dosh.

It is extremely bland and way out dated. I prefer the two-two gear.

And you will find at the end of the year the fox/Thor shit is at half price because it's OUTDATED. The jt shit ain't exactly the latest and greatest. So why have a price tag pretending it is?

I think they did good on the marketing side of things but the real test will be the second line. It will be interesting to see their take on modern design. You can't surf the retro stuff for too long.

I recall Alessi tweeting that after the 3rd round we will see more colorways and brighter gear on him. Im really looking fwd to that.

Michael Leib looks really good in it!

the lad wasn't asking what you think about it and whether you like it or not, he wanted to know if it's invaded the racetracks nationwide and if it's selling through at the shops. Only two responses on it, one said his buddy said it's selling like you can't keep it on the shelf more than a day, the other one saying you see it here and there at the tracks.

I've seen it at Chaparral and at GMO, I don't know about the sell-through though.

I've only seen one dealer out here in the SE selling it. The last I talked to them, it hasn't moved very well at. They were kind of pissed because they went pretty deep on it too.

I'm 25, love rap (not radio rap) and I love pretty much all of the colorways. I dig a lot of gear though. Too bad the closest dealer to me is in Longview. Might jus have to order some.
