Yea Labron's coaching career has sucked.....that is an apples to oranges comparison, but nice try. If you said Isiah Thomas was a better basketball player than Phil Jackson but who has more rings, it may have worked better.....

It's a dumb statement depending on how you look at it. I don't give a shit about baseball.

No, it's dumb regardless on how you look at it. Should a top pro listen to gary bailey? James is faster than Johnny O...why listen to him?

I'm glad Ryan evaluates other riders and Tweets. It keeps him away from his boxing career...

Is he going to release another video? I had heard it was going to be a serious; a la Gary Semics or something, but nothing after the first video. I liked his perspective on the building blocks of body position in the first one, pretty simple and easy to digest. Most guys probably are gonna say everything he says is obvious or intuitive, but I see a lot of guys racing locally that don't use the techniques he outlined. I felt like I improved applying his techniques and hopes he keeps it up.

He likes RV, 49ers, and Giants all when their winning. Sounds like Ryno is a classic front runner!

I think it's funny when he tweets stuff like this and talking about Bubba needing to lock his hips. I don't know, Ryno just acts kinda Mel Gibson crazy sometimes. His hatred for the neck braces are epic too.
I agree 100%. I followed him for about a month back in the day but fired his ass because I could sense the crazy. Guy seems like a dick (not a technical term). Great rider, but I'd rather see Martha Stewart on my twitter feed or whatever it is called.

I'm not one to bench race or talk on the internet but being that I train with Ryno 2-3 times a week in the winter months I have to inform you guys knocking him that you are just ignorant, everyone has an opinion but you really have no clue.... on and off the track I have learned sooo much to elevate my lifestyle, health and riding....

Isn't Ryno selling some nuts? Seriously, I thought he was selling some nuts when he raced the GP.

Something about a certain animal eats nuts, but doesn't drink red bull.

i have no doubt he is a good coach, and there are people with results in pro racing that have shown that,

but some of his rants are just way off, and make him seem more than a little weird,

That fight Vid was so funny, it is so good when the aggressor gets his ass kicked.

"You want get some mutha f**ker huh!, you want get some mutha f**ker!" Whack, Whack
"He hit me first!" "Dude what's your problem dude!"

That's gold so funny, bet Ryan wished he let him ride by
1/17/2012 5:16am
Ryan knows what he is talking about, more so then 99% of the people coaching riders.

He has more knowledge of technique, bike setup and nutrition then anyone currently coaching. The problem with him is that he is a straight forward cut through the shit guy and most riders with over inflated egos can't handle him.

Probably. But you gotta remember you don't have to ride faster than someone to see their bad habits. Plenty of great coaches out there that can't...

Plenty of great coaches out there that can't actually do it themselves but know what's good...

Any time I have heard Hughes talk about riding tips etc, he has been very good imo. His transworld skills dvd was good.

I don't think you have to be better than other people to coach them -, RCs mum effectively trained him. As ryno has said he has learnt a lot from his mistakes riding as well. He seems to understand the mechanics of riding a bike very well. He regularly praises Stewart for 'unlocking his hips' and points to Everts technique as a perfect way of riding. Everts' talks a lot about riding on the balls of your feet as well as do a lot of coaches.

I think for the majority of riders most of what he says makes sense and you would learn a lot. He is very intense though lol

what's crazy is how many people here think that you have to be faster/better/more c-ships than someone in order to have an opinion on it or see a bad habit.

i'm not saying that Hughes is the end all be all riding coach... but sometimes the attitude towards someone's opinion in here are just f**king rude.

By the logic of some people in this thread, moto boards should only exist for us to sit and wait for RC to come on and dispense gospel. Since he is the only rider with no one better than him he must be the only one qualified to have an opinion.

Yep thats how a lot of people are treated here, because if you don't have so many pro wins and championships your opinion doesn't count lol.
