I think canard after a few rounds will be fighting for top spot on the box on quite a few occasions......that's my feeling anyways. I also see a few guys like KW , Brayton , Metcalfe , millsaps , Grant....and possibly Tickle mixing it up every now and then inside the top 5 as well.

I am really hoping to see Hill get back up to speed.....that right there would make my year.

I agree Jeff, Trey at 100% makes it a "Top 5" not 4, and any 5 of them at any given race can pull off the win, and his 3 wins last season was no fluke!

If only Jan 7 could get here before we lose any more riders (in either class)

Top spot goes to Canard/Vegas Windham

Then if Hill is back in full force (which we all hope for) he'll be sixth in line, if not with the top 5 group.

Rest of the Pack
Windham (Non Vegas/Houston)
Metcalfe
Weimer
Brayton
Millsaps

Spots 11-20 are too variable to pick.

Anyone NOT putting Trey Canard in the top five spots should be out playing
golf or jumping rope because they know NOTHING about MX/SX.

What with JS7 more than likely getting hurt, RD5 riding an orange bike and CR22 being, well, kinda old (lol) I have to agree with ya.

My friend rides Downhill and the first time he tried out a neck brace he crashed and bust his collar bone. He don't wear one anymore..!

It must be pretty demoralizing to anyone that isn't in the "top 4 or 5" to come read this message board. Either that or it gives them something to work for to prove. Just to clarify, I don't disagree with any of the posts or that the forums are being created. I would just hate to be Metcalfe, Allessi, Millsaps. . . etc to come on here and basically see everyone handing the trophy to one of the top 5 and saying I had no chance especially when confidence is a big part of this game we play.

I have to say, Metcalfe is like fine wine, he's only getting better in time. I think he has what it takes to surprise us this year. That's my hope anyways but as for the "top 5" Dungey is the man. Can't wait to see what Orange can do for me. . .

Add Canard back up there when he returns. Shit, top 10 is going to be even harder to crack than last year... there will be some quick guys not making night shows.

The rest will flounder between not making the main and trying to throw a hook in 10th place

My post was not to bag Metty. It was just a blunt statement because he has been riddled with injuries every season around February or March and his starts have been pretty ordinary. I'm not taking offence to your post, just thought I would give reason to what I said.

I have seen Brett ride since he was on a PW50, proud to see how far he has come and how far he will go...

I hope the racing is close and the ones that have been rated outside the top 4 bring it up a notch and mix with the front runners. Out of all the pro's I'd love to see Metty win.

Here is what I think......

Stewart (The fastest man on the planet by a city mile and will win a minimum of 10 rounds)
Villopoto (IS the second fastest guy and will win just about all the races that Stewart messes up)
reed (reed might get 1 win if Stewart and Villopoto get tangled up in the first turn while reed gets the holeshot)
dungey (We will be hearing about how they are still getting the all new bike dialed in, all season long, and no wins)
Canard (when canard is back to 100% he will be faster than dungey and mixing it up and getting close to RV)

The rest of the pack will be mixed up every round.... but I think it will end something like this...

Grant
KW
Milsaps
Hanny
Weimer

Top 4 (in this order): Villopoto Stewart Reed Dungey (Trey Canard would make it a top five after he returns from injury no doubt about it)...

Since when did it become the ''fantastic 4''?

What, no love for Canard? IMO, its ''Fab 5''......then the rest.

There's no way Canard consistently beats Dungey and Reed, let alone Stewart or Villopoto. He has flashes of brilliance but I don't think he can keep it on two wheels long enough to contend for the championship in SX.

#1- 2: Villo or Bubba
#3-4: Dungey or Reed
#5: Canard
#6+: Metcalfe, Short, Windham, Brayton, Tedesco, Millsaps etc

I don't think guys like Hill, Alessi, Weimer, or Hansen will be any sort of factor
