Till tonight. He showed up to the church I went to tonight in Temecula and gave his testimony. It confirmed what I thought I knew of him, matter of fact I have huge respect for this guy.
Motocross needs a guy... or 10, like this that kids can look to for inspiration.
Trey is definitely someone that carries himself with grace.
Love em or not, he has a conviction for what he believes in. Trey's parents did a fabulous job raising this kid and have lots to be proud of.
All in my humble Opinion.

I'd post a short little video I have, of him "finding a second" where the others couldn't, if I gave a shit about whether or not he needed any support....Good luck to the kid.
thats a good thing....awesome athletes, awesome stories, awesome role models.

Pit Row
Totally agree we could use more like him out there in the racing scene.
He is an amazing guy and a very talented rider but his preaching and extreme religiousness reminds is no different than the cult of Kim Jong Il or the preaching of other extreme religiousness.
I am a catholic, I choose my religion, the way I practice it and what I want to believe in. Extreme religions can be dangerous, misleading, whatever they preach.
Nonetheless, I would totally understand Trey's extreme passion and belief in his religion. It is undoubtedly through his extreme beliefs that he found the strength, the courage, the guidance to overcome tragedy, loss and the repeated injuries. Some need an incredibly strong faith in something to come back and go for it the way he does, be it Jesus, Jehova, Allah or Kim Jong Il.
If Chad Reed got up and thanked Ellie every time he podiumed, nobody would care. But with Trey thanking God when he podiums, it rubs people the wrong way. Why?
I don't care if he is a Christian or not. If we can't talk about hookers and blow and everyone wants to complain about how the rock star girls dress I don't need that Jesus crap thrown in my face all the time.
